Greeter hasn’t showed up. Better go yourself without booking the experience and getting upset that the agent/greeter is not showing up
Navigating the Vatican process is overwhelming so I didn't mind paying more to get assistance, but that assistance did not happen. The meeting point was clear but what they did not tell you is that it is also the meeting point for every other tour so it is mass chaos. I was there on time and never saw the man with the sign for this tour. There were literally dozens of other tours so hundreds of people gathered across the street from the Vatican so that they could go get in line with other hundreds of people.
I contacted the site and they told me to go look for the guide. I did that and then told them I could not see the guide or the sign. I got a canned reply that they waited for me but because I wasn't there they just sent me the tickets. I just have to say this one more time.... I WAS THERE ON TIME.
So basically I paid more for a ticket that made me navigate the process on my own.
Super easy to book and meet the guide in front of the Caffe Vaticano right across from the entrance lines to the museums. Get there early to grab a coffee. This is not a guided tour, but you can download audio guides to listen to while you walk through the museums and Sistine Chapel.
We booked Vatican museum and Sistine chapel tickets. Missed our time but had great communication with guide who sent us our tickets and exact directions and instructions. Thank you so much!
Excellent tour so much to see and take in that I dont think you could do it all in one visit. Be prepared to walk though it took us 2.5 hours to reach the sistine chapel and it is hard on your feet. Well worth the money and very quick organised entry
Nobody guided us anywhere. Someone who we just happened luckily to notice his sign somewhere around his midriff checked our tickets and vaguely pointed us across the road to checkpoint 3 very ordinary customer service

For clarity, the product you booked was skip-the-line entry tickets with a host. As outlined in the description, this service does not include a guided tour. The host’s role is to meet you at the designated meeting point and provide your official entry tickets, as the Viator voucher itself is not valid for admission. The meeting address is clearly listed on the voucher to help ensure a smooth check-in process.
Our host always wears branded clothing and holds a clearly visible sign at the specified location. We regret that there was some initial difficulty locating him, though we’re glad the situation was resolved and you were ultimately able to enter.
From our records, the service was delivered as described.
Seems poorly organized. I signed online only to find 2 remaining tickets but no further instructions. Felt adequate information not given.
The meeting site was crowded and little help was offered onsite as to what needed to be done.

You should arrive early to skip the long line. We booked the tickets at 8am and there wasn’t a lot of tourists.

we walked to caffe vatico to meet our guide but it took a little of navigating to realize we had to walk all the way around the vatican to get there.
Paid for guided tour but was told on arrival it was non guided even though it said it was a guided tour on the ticket Had to pay extra for audio experience after this.
I wasn't sure if to book with this company because they have some negative reviews. Yet, I gave it a try and my only regret is not booking the guide tour as well. The guide that gave us the tickets was really friendly and helpful. My recommendations are the following ones:
1. I strongly advise anyone to go at least a day before to the meeting point, so that they know how to arrive there. It's a bit tricky, but once you know the place, it'll be fine. We did that 2 days before and passed nearby many times during our 4 days stay as our accommodation was close to the San Pietro train station (a walkable distance to everything related to Vatican and even to Rome's attractions).
2. Plan good you arrival to the meeting point, otherwise it's almost impossible to manage it. There were like 1 million people at 7 am queuing in the Saint Peter Square area, a lot extremely rude and literally stopping us to pass by- it was like a blockage. We didn't care and made our way through, but really horrible!!! So, take it into consideration!
3. We managed to arrive 5 minutes before our scheduled visit, quite stressed and sweaty, but the guide positively changed our morning experience. Thank you!
4. If you plan to visit it on your own and buy the audioguide, take your headphones so you can actually focus on the information. There are a lot of groups of tourists speaking different languages, so it might distract your attention.
5. Book the skip-the-line tickets!!!
Simple and easy ! Address was accurate and we were met with our tickets. Just be sure to get there a bit early to meet the ticket person
I arrived 5min late but I communicated and they did not wait for me, then I requested at least to have my tickets.l, which is my right. They told me a guide would be 8:40am with my tickets in the point of meeting and no one was there, I called and text and no one answered for a while. They send me a digital after but was too late my phone died and i could not do anything. I had to book with another company. The other day I request a refund and they refused. That was my experience.
My partner and I we booked the night before to go the museum. The team got us our tickets, we didn't have to make the full line. The guys had a t-shirt with the logo and they were at the point of meeting on time.
I found this option very affordable and efficient. It was easy to meet the agents in advance to get the tickets. There was a very quick line to wait in to pass security, which all ticket holders have to go through. I liked that this option didn't require buying an expensive guided tour. As a solo traveller that wanted to go at my own pace, it was great. I went at 8am, and the museum was very calm
Truly spectacular! Every single piece of art, painting is to be admired. It was beautiful. We took so many pictures. One thing to know is that you’re not allowed to take pictures in the Sistine Chapel. You can take as many as you want in the museum.
We arrived on time and was told to meet by tour across the street from the Vatican. No clear indication of who I was meeting up with. Thousands of people like us trying to visit and after searching for about 10 minutes we get a call from your associate saying he had our tickets and he was wearing a black shirt. Do you know how many men were wearing a black shirt, alot. we finally found the person who had the tickets but we was not the guid.He told us to go get in the 3rd row in the line and to look for the guide,we just did the tour on our own. we were going to do some other tours with Vitor,but will go with another company.
We met in the front of the museum. They gave us a paper print out and directions for which entrance lane to take. Pretty basic, but it did the trick. Hardly no waiting.

We loved the visit and even with so many people waiting we entered the museums very quick. Communication was great, and picking up the tickets was very easy.
The LivTour reps only have T-shirts on (no flag) in the open area next to the cafe so I couldn’t find them at first but keep looking - they are there! We were put into Line 3 which was by far the longest. I went first thing at 8am. The line moved quickly (only 15 mins) but still wondering why these were skip-the-line tickets and we were in the longest one. Amazing museum and chapel, and well worth the visit!
An awesome experience inside the museum, but with a very unprofessional tour agency. LivTours should be avoided. After getting my ticket, I was told to find the tour guide at line 3 (outside of the Vatican Museum front entrance). I walk over to line 3, find one of the representatives of LivTours, and he tells me to go and find the tour guide down the line. I then look for him and he was nowhere to be found. So, I decided to go inside solo. I enjoyed my experience inside the museum, particularly the Sistine Chapel, but I would avoid LivTours by any means.
You still have to make a line but it moves fast. Make sure you cover shoulder and knees. I would use them again.
our tour, Roberto, guide was extermely knowledgeable and made sure to notice things we were interested in and went into more detail. he even went the extra step to continue to give us history facts after the tour ended. My family and I learned a lot and and a great experience.
Everything worked perfectly! The line was quick and easy, just as promised. Wr had a great time exploring the Vatican.
Great offer, we spent the entire day at Vatican museums, it was really magnificent. The only thing - it was a bit hard to find provider representatives to exchange the tickets, we only recognized them by the LivTour logo on their t-shirts, they had no flag with a logo, as the others did.

We used this agency to book skip-the-line tickets for the Vatican Museums, and it was absolutely worth every cent. It saved us a huge amount of time — we walked right past the long line and entered with ease. The process was smooth and efficient overall.
The only minor downside was that it took a bit of time to locate our guide near the entrance — there are so many tour groups and guides in the same area that it can get confusing. A small flag or sign would really help with visibility.
That said, the experience itself was fantastic, and we’re really glad we booked through this agency. Highly recommended!
The visit was extraordinary. However, I would recommend planning for visit to take close to two hours. Forty five minutes does not do it justice!
