Tours will continue in all weather conditions. It is highly recommended to bring mineral water, sunscreen, a hat and an umbrella.
Wear comfortable shoes and be sure to dress warmly in colder temperatures, and carry a cape over your bare shoulders inside any church in the warmer months.
If the chosen time is not available, you will be transferred to another time on the same day. These changes do not depend on us. Subsequent complaints and refund requests will not be accepted. Example: If you choose the 10am time slot and it is not available you will be moved to the first available time slot, 2pm.

Important notice for last-minute reservations (same day or overnight): in case of lack of seats, the customer will be placed on the day following the reserved date.

Wonderful Walking Tour/Misleading Communication

The tour itself was wonderful, got to learn the history of some important sights in Rome, our guide was wonderfully informative and personable. Wished it had included a stop in Piazza Navona, but saw many highlights of the city and gave my group a general working knowledge of how to navigate the city. The only negative thing is that I received a message about 45 minutes before our tour was to start that it had been delayed by 30 minutes. So we went to get something to eat at the restaurant in front of which we were to meet, only to get a call that we were late for our tour, when according to the message and the changed time on my Viator Voucher, we still had 20 minutes before the tour was to start. Thankfully we were nearly finished our meal and could settle our bill and join the group. Our guide was incredible to make sure we made it and took a picture of my voucher to prove that we were indeed given incorrect information. As a result of that experience, I did not trust the message that my tour the next day, with a different company, however organized by Viator, was changed and postponed 25 minutes from our original time. This time the information was correct and we were at the meeting point 45 minutes before our tour. Bottom line I would use the service again, but I will not trust any communication that states the excursion was delayed, so as not to risk missing out on a pre paid, long planned and anticipated portion of my vacation. Especially since the person calling me to find out where we were and if we were going to join the group refused to believe that I had been sent the incorrect information about a change in time for our tour.
