Busy day. You are dropped at Pompei and meet a guide for a walking tour. Then on to the coast. Left at 7 AM. Returned back at 730 pm.

What an amazing day. Our guide was on time and easy to communicate with. He made stops for us during the drive, including a stop at a lemoncello factory along the Amalfi coast as well as perfect stops for photo ops. When we arrived to Positano he had a reservation set up for us at a restaurant on the beach. The food and view were spectacular. Highly recommend this tour as it was a highlight of our trip.

Amazing tour. This was a Mother/daughter trip to Rome. I opted for the personal car since my daughter is pregnant and prone to car sickness. She sat in front with Max (excellent driver, very smooth) and she had no problem. It was a long day but very much worth it. Andrea drove alongside us with a nice family from Australia and we all did the Pompeii tour together with Franchesca, a very knowledgeable guide. Next we headed to the Almafi Coast and stopped in Positano for several hours of sightseeing and lunch on our own. We both enjoyed the day immensely and would highly recommend.

A less stress way to get there

We had a great day with Andrea, our driver. Got to Pompeii swiftly and safely and then was set loose to use the guided tour or the audio tour. Spent 2 hrs before moving on to Positano. We would have rather just stayed at Pompeii as we didn't see much of it and the beach at Positano was ridiculously packed. Had a nice dinner and then headed back to Rome quite exhausted.

We had the most amazing family tour from Rome to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Positano with My Great Tour! Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that Anrea our driver and guide truly cared about us, both the kids and adults, and did his absolute best to make this trip memorable!! He texted us the day before to confirm pick up time at our apartment hotel and the very next day he was at our doorstep promptly at 7 am. We knew leaving from Rome this would be a long day BUT it was obvious we were in great hands. Anrea was very charismatic, attentive and warm, we didn't feel rushed at all. For our children (aged 5,7 and 9) this definitely was the most eye-opening, adventurous, and stunning journey of their lives! For us adults we were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of our trip: from archaeological sites to the gorgeous Amalfi coast to the charming town of Positano. He stopped at strategic points along the coast for those picture perfect memories and even helped us book a restaurant in front of the beach at Positano. It worth to mention he ensured the owner payed special attention to us. Truly unforgettable. If you care for a 10 star tour with someone that cares and will go the extra mile to ensure you have the best experience possible - then book this tour!! Our family loved it and we will definitely be booking other tours with him again!!!

What a fantastic private day tour experience to Pompei and Positano for my girlfriend’s birthday surprise this was. The day could not have been more perfect and we owe it to our driver Andrea. He was punctual, handled all the translations including surprising us with 2 reservation options to beach front restaurants after we came back from the Pompei tour - I simply asked for suggestions, he went above and beyond. Pompei was impressive, gave you a good sense for daily Roman life and Positano had breath taking views especially on the drive there. I would highly recommend this experience especially if you’re in the care of someone like Andrea. Thank you for the wonderful memories My Great Tour and especially you, Andrea!
