Amazing

Our tour guide was absolutely incredible. Kids were engaged and excited and learned so much. This was truly an unforgettable experience.

Perfect private tour of the Vatican & Sistine Chapel with kids!

Amy_H, Jul 2024
We booked the private Vatican tour for our family of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids under 7). Valeria was fantastic! She made sure to include the kids so they enjoyed the tour as much as the adults. We stayed on schedule and were able to skip several lines. She even took us to see the carriages / vehicles that the Pope rode in over the years. This was a hit with the kids. Valeria was great with them. It was hot and she made sure we were able to get water for the kids and stop for a short break. I definitely recommend Valeria and this tour company!

Overpriced Tour, No Games or Activities for Kids

We were looking specifically for a Vatican tour to do with our two kids ages 13 and 10 and keep them interested and engaged during a 3-hour tour. We paid a premium to specifically have a guide with games and activities for the kids (as they have advertised). He was a nice and polite tour guide but there were no games or activities to engage our kids during the tour. Also, our tour guide ended the tour abruptly at 10:30am. I had to tell him our tour was 9am-12pm and show him on Viator site what we signed up, for but he said we were done. This was our very first day in Rome and Viator tour experience and we definitely paid way too much for just over an hour tour.

Educational

St Peter’s basilica! The statues and the hallway of tapestries were our favorites. Great guide who knew what she was doing. Doing the Vatican on your own would be a nightmare.

Do this tour!

Hands down, must do experience if you have little ones in your family! This was our second experience with a kid focused guide from Rome tours with kids and we are completely blown away with our experience. Our entire family got more out of it than we ever could have imagined! Julia, our guide, is incredibly knowledgeable and kept us captivated throughout the entire experience. I really can't imagine doing it without her! Our son is 7 and he LOVED it! Well worth it.

A win

Our tour guide Donato was a joy. Animated, excited, and knowledgeable, he made 3 hours fly buy and kept our children engaged and learning the whole time. I o Lu wish someone had told us not to book on a Wednesday morning since that is then the Pope makes public appearance and so the Basilica is closed.

Fantastic!

Highly Recommend!

Maria was an outstanding tour guide! She really made the Vatican come to life for our three young children. She was engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient, bringing pictures and games that kept their attention and taught them so much about the history of this place. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great tour for kids around the Vatican!

Tu_M, Aug 2021
Had the tour with Maria Claudia. The car picked us up at our hotel in time, then we met up with our guide. Got into the Vatican with no time. Was able to see the major highlights in Vatican with our 3 young children, and Maria was able to engage them the whole time. They were very excited about the competition between kids vs parents, so despite still having some jet lag as it was our second day in Rome, they learned quiet a lot and still remembered some facts from the tour after it ended. We also got to see the Sistine Chapel, but due to Covid didn’t get to see St. Peter’s Basilica due to the walkway between the 2 places being blocked off.
