Sarah was a lovely guide kept the kids entertained and engaged and helped us manage the 39 degree day by pointing out water fountains and finding shade to rest in. The kids loved her questions and asked plenty of their own which Sarah answered with kindness and patience. We remember so much from tour- we definitely learnt a lot - but we also had a fun day which wasn’t guaranteed given the heat! Our kids are 7,10 and 12 and for this age group, the private tour was fantastic!

We had a wonderful experience and our tour guide was absolutely amazing! One of the best reasons to book a private tour is the ability to skip the long lines and head straight to the front — such a time-saver.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and knew all the best highlights to focus on. He also did a fantastic job keeping our boys engaged by having them search for hidden details and even playing a fun gladiator game during the tour.
Highly recommend this experience — it was a perfect mix of education, fun, and convenience!

Bruno was an excellent guide. Very engaging. We split into teams and played trivia throughout the tour, which made it fun for all (teenagers and adults). Plus we learned a lot. He made the ruins come to life and helped us understand what we were seeing. Fantastico!

We had the best time with Kasia! Our kids were so excited and engaged through the entire time. She had games, worksheets, and the most patience with our littlest. My 8yr exclaimed at the end of the tour—“that was the least boringest tour, and I learned A LOT!” — that is a glowing endorsement from a tough audience. We met at the metro station, walked in and through the Colosseum. The tour ended at the Forum. Kasia navigated the lines, tickets etc with easy and made like we were almost there alone despite the crowds.

Alessandra was an incredible tour guide! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable she was so interactive with our kids. We’ve been on a lot of tours and I have never seen them get that engaged. She was also so patient managing the personalities of 3 competitive and travel exhausted boys. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone I know.

Really good tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Tour guide really adapted content and information for my son so kept him engaged. It was expensive but worthwhile experience to really appreciate the history. I would recommend this tour.

Martina provided the most wonderful tour for our family. Our sons are 9 and 12. She was patient with our son who asked her at least 1000 questions. She showed us many images on her iPad to give us a better understanding of what we were seeing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. We are so graceful for the experience that she gave us. This is a perfect way to show the kids the colosseum and Palantine Hill.

Our family had two tours in one day, we did the Vatican private family tour in the morning and we were so fortunate to get the Same excellent tour guide Martina for our afternoon colosseum private family tour again! She was so helpful and actually has a background in archeology. It was happenstance we got the same tour guide twice but also so wonderful for our family to enjoy another tour with Martina again.

Bruno is a terrific host. It was terribly hot the day of our tour, and he found a way to make the day so much fun for our 8 & 5 year olds.
He’s also very knowledgeable of not only the Colosseum history, but of Roman history and did a great job tacking all of our questions.
This is a must do tour.

We booked the private Colosseum tour since we had small children with us (ages 7, 4, and 2). Our tour guide Cris was amazing! She really catered to the children and made sure they were included in the tour. She was very knowledgeable and great with the kids. The kids got tired after the Colosseum tour and left with their parents. However Cris continued the tour of the Roman Forum with those who remained. I highly recommend Cris and this tour company.

We had an amazing tour with Martina. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Roman (and ancient history) and even had a PhD in a related field. I was with my 10 year old son and she did an incredible job making it interesting and fun for him and me. Loved the tour and highly recommend her again

Best tour guide! We saw lots of sites on our trip, but this ended up being a highlight for our boys. Donato was a great guide who kept the boys interested and engaged. We learned so much about the Colosseum and Ancient Roma in a fun interactive way.

Donato was an absolutely incredible guide and he kept my children so involved and interested during our tour of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican City. Donato made what could have been a boring experience an absolute adventure for all of us as we left Italy and explored the Vatican. I couldn't recommend him, his enthusiasm or his extreme knowledge any more. We loved our afternoon with Donato!

I cannot even begin to say how much my family loved this tour. Donato was simply amazing.
We had just arrived the morning of the tour and Donato handled our very whiny six year old very well.
We loved the games he played throughout the tour to keep the kids engaged and the way he taught us about the Colosseum and the Roman Forum were perfect for kids (and adults!).

Thank you Simona! Without a doubt one the BEST tours we've EVER had! Anywhere! We had Simona, and she was thorough, interesting and engaging - for both adults and kids! Our youngest got cranky for a bit, with the walking and the hot sun, and our guide was so patient and accommodating. Simona used quizzes and scavenger hunts to keep children interested! They even got a prize at the end. I felt this tour was above and beyond anything we expected! Do not hesitate to book this! A million thank yous!

Paola was fabulous. She navigated the crowds well & also shared her knowledge with us in a way that resonated with our 3 young teenage boys as well as us.
