- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please provide the first and last name of each traveler exactly as they appear on your official travel documents. Failure to do so will result in denied entry and loss of tour.
- Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure. This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
- All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security
- The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attractions administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
- Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue
- The tour reservations have strict timing. Please make sure to be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before your booked time slot. Latecomers won't be waited for and no refunds will be granted.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Purchasing the guided tour, you are acknowledging and consenting that the Colosseum Underground admission fee is 24 € for adults, along with a 2 € booking fee, and free entry for children under 18. The remaining amount covers professional licensed tour guide along with other services, headsets, booking fees, and tour amenities. Communication seemed poor among staff and to tour guide guests. We arrived “late” and they said that we needed to be there 45 mins before. Able to get back with group to see colosseum thank goodness but got told a wrong time yet again. Individuals in the tour group were discussing how the time they said versus listed was not accurate. Seems others had similar problems.
Our tour guide was phenomenal! She made it all worth it.

Crazy cold and rain day, but that did not stop our guide, Daniella S! She was full of great information throughout the tour! From the start of Rome to the building of the Colosseum and even details about the frescos than have been uncovered in the Forum. A guide can really make or break your tour and I would highly suggest this tour! Getting to walk the underground was so interesting and something that is worth the extra cost when you are considering what Colosseum tour to pick.

This is very cool and informative. It’s a 5 star experience except the radios went out halfway into our tour which took away from the experience. Due to that issue we gave 4 of 5 stars. But our guide was great and the skip the line was worth it to avoid long lines. Make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes before the meeting time as we left early and another group had to run to catch up.

Anza Broccoli was a great guide! We had been in the same tour with a different group about 8 years ago. But we learned and saw so much more. She’s knowledgeable and engaging and good at weaving the history and the archeology into a story.

The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. However she was short and I lost her in the crowd twice as she hurried to stay on schedule. She commented later that there should have been a second guide to assist but he called in sick. Between her heavy Italian accent and the audio quality of the headpieces it was hard to understand her at times

This tour was a bit problematic. First, I booked the tours 6 months ago for the arena colosseum underground with two SMALL groups of 6. Just a few days ago someone called me to say it was cancelled - no underground available. I was very disappointed because that was our primary concern. They told me not to worry because they would refund some of my ticket price and we would be placed into new groups. When we got there we were put into one big group with several other people - total group of about 20 I think. Absolutely not the semi private experience I had paid for. I am very short and our guide did not carry an easily recognizable banner so it was hard for me to find him and keep up. Our headsets were very glitchy - not his fault of course but problematic. Overall the experience was so different from the morning when we were at the Vatican with Dario, our excellent guide).

This tour is exactly as advertised, only better. Our guide was nice, well spoken, and educated about the sites. It was a nice surprise to receive headphones to ensure everyone could hear the tour. We started in the Forum, then went to the underground/dungeons, and then we had time after the tour to explore the aboveground areas.
PS - You gave us an anxiety attack with all of the constant reminders to be early. Just be straight - check in is 15 minutes prior to tour up until the tour leaves. You aren't going to leave us behind if we arrive 5 minutes before the tour.

An excellent way to see the Forum and Colosseum. With the lines and crowds at both, this was a good way to skip most of the lines and to also see the below ground area of the Colosseum. Our cruise was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw the best of both in the time we had.

The guide was very informative, approachable and friendly. He engaged us in all the different ancient stories which made this tour so interesting. We had access to so many different aspects of both the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Thoroughly worthwhile.

Not the tour I paid for !!!! bad communication ruined what was supposed to be an amazing Christmas present. It didn’t help our tour fell on the Rome marathon without prior notice from the tour company our small group was doubled to 22 people underground and forum cancelled on the day due to delays we were promised great photo opportunities the reality was fast paced without stops lesson has now been learnt book fast track to avoid the queues and do it yourself, paid good money for a bad experience I don’t blame the marathon I blame the tour operators, bad management!!!!!!!!

Julia, our guide, was fantastic! This tour gives you everything as promised. We're had an amazing time and saw so many things! To be fair, 3 hours is not enough time to take in the forum and the colosseum. You will want more time! But the underground of the colosseum was very special. To walk the path of the gladiators and l feel that energy was surreal and intense. This is something we'll carry with us forever.

Our guide, Isabel, was amazing. We were a group of seven in total. We were first onto the ground of the Colosseum. It was a once-in-a-lifetime visit. Isabel was so knowledgeable and had great stories that she shared with humour.
Could not recommend this tour more - well worth the price tag!

The guide OUTSIDE of the Colosseum was amazing! His knowledge of ancient Rome was impressive. He was lively and animated. One could tell that he really knew his material AND enjoyed sharing.
Unfortunately, inside the Colosseum, my headset did not work all of the time. I had lots of time where I could not hear the guide.

Our guide, Philomena, for the Roman Forum part of the tour was excellent and provided so much interesting information. We had a different guide for the underground. This portion of the tour was rather underwhelming. Overall, still a good tour.

Good and informative tour. However, the small group we paid for became a big group before we started (about 22-24 people) which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless the guide was excellent, the tour was extensive, and we skipped the queue to get into the Colosseum. There is still some queuing however, and we had some waiting around both inside the Colosseum and waiting to get into the Forum afterwards. It's worth making sure you have photo ID on you and we hadn't seen that in the small print, but were OK to get in as they accepted copies on a phone on this occasion.

We were in awe at size and technology exhibited in the Colosseum.
The underground part of the tour was a highlight of the our stay in Rome and something that should not be missed.
