Great information about the Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Colosseum. I would have liked to hear more about the historical phases and drawing the Forum and Palatine Hill ruins into the arc of history. The Colosseum tour was great, but a little rushed through the history and archeological displays.

Totally overpriced for what it was. Our tour guide at the forum seemed unenthusiastic and disinterested and we didn’t get any time to actually stop and look at anything or get off the main path. Colosseum tour guide was better and we ended there so we could wander a bit. At least we got to skip the lines. But for the differential between this tour and the entrance fees I was expecting higher quality tours. I wish I could get a partial refund.

The highlight of 8 days in Italy

The guide was excellent in describing the many things at Pompei and the site itself was spectacular particularly the arena and the many well preserved shops, homes and community spaces. The lunch and winery tour were quite nice. We preferred this tour above anything we did in Rome.

We walked all over to find the tour in the heat the address to meet was not where the tour started! Finally found it. So dissapointing would have done better on our own! Would like a refund.

This was to have been a small tour up to 20 and water provided. When my party and I arrived at the meeting place two parties were combined. The tour had 35 guests and no water was provided. VIP access consisted of a 1.30 hour wait in line, in the hot sun. Do not recommend.

We were supposed to start this tour at 10:30 am. We arrived early at 10:15. They rushed us into the tour which was leaving. We didn't get a bottle of water, it was supposed to be a 2 1/2 hour tour which ended up being an hour and 45 minutes, I had a difficult time understanding the guide, and we were supposed to have skip the line tickets. He put us in the regular line then said he had to leave because he had another tour. I was not happy and we certainly get what was described online.
