Fabulous trip. The guides Scott and Molly were the best! The weather was perfect and the 15 mile bike ride was so beautiful. It was a wonderful way to see the sights of Portland and take pictures of the lighthouses. They also were very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Portland and the state of Maine. We also had the BEST lobster roll ever!!!! I definitely would recommend this excursion.

There are hills so plan on working your legs, but for an experienced biker they ate fine. I'm pretty out of shape so that's why the hills were a little more challenging. Oh and buy bike shorts with padding
Fun trip with Julianne as a guide and two others. Would definitely recommend it! Easy trip after we upgraded to e-bikes.

This was a great way to see the Portland area and lighthouses. We lucked out with a beautiful day and a great guide! He was so patient with me as we went across the bridge. And the lobster rolls were amazing!

Our guide Lauren was freaking awesome and made it fun. The other riders were also good people. The riding pace was a little slow for me, but was very kind to riders of all skill levels. Bite Into Maine is still the best lobster roll I've had.

Scott was a great guide. He balanced the needs of the group well and kept us in good humor. I thought the ride was a very enjoyable way to see the lighthouses and some of the area...and of course the lobster roll was great!!

This was a great easy to moderate ride to the 5 lighthouses. Loved the views and the guides provided a lot of information and trivia along the way. The lobster roll was a tremendous capper to the tour.

The tour included a few more hills and cycling on the road than I anticipated but the tour guides made sure that everyone was comfortable and had a good time.

Pamela, so glad that you enjoyed your day on the bike with Scott and Molly
Nice bikes and great guides. However, Viator stated maximum of 8 riders. Tour actually had 14 which was the 8 signed up using Viator combined with others that signed up directly with the bike tour company.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Larry, thanks for taking the tour. Sadly, we have had problems with Viator modifying our listings with inaccurate information. We feel that a group of 14 with two guides is a good size.
Dan was a great guide. He told us a lot about the WW2 history of the area. We covered a lot of miles and were able to see several lighthouses and different areas around Portland. Well worth our time!

Dana, Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed Dan as a guide.
Excellent trip with many stops that included history and local lore. Lobster roll was great and the guides were fun and kept us safe along the way

Brian, I am glad that you enjoyed your day
Molly was our guide and she did a wonderful job of planning the route we took around Portland. Went to 3 lighthouses and rode through some beautiful neighborhoods.
The lobster roll we had was amazing. Packed full of lobster and Molly had molasses cookies for a nice treat. I will say you need to be in pretty good shape to take this trip. 15 miles round trip, and there were several hills and 1 bridge we had to climb. Nothing crazy, but more than a few times I felt my legs burning. Overall it was a great way to see Portland and its beauty up close.

This was a wonderful bike tour with a total of 5 people including us and the guide! Our guide, Dan, was excellent! The pace was perfect for two very active people. The lobster roll was delicious. We biked just over 17 miles on the tour.

The bike tour was a highlight of our trip! It was wonderful way to explore the city and learn a little history while seeing the main lighthouses. The best part of the tour was our guide, Lauren. Lauren was personable, professional, and knowledgeable! This is a must do activity and request Lauren when booking!

This was such a fun trip. Rick was an outstanding guide - telling us about Portland history and answering our questions. We rode about 18 miles with frequent stops and a beautiful lunch stop with an excellent lobster roll.

It was the end of season so bikes were a little tired so one star removed. Otherwise a fabulous 5 star tour. Art and Molly were great tour guides. Art is super knowledgeable about Portland and we learned some neat things along the way. Seeing the 3 lighthouses up close was great with the others in distance. The lobster roll was delicious and the surprise cookies were yummy too. I'm not going to spoil what they were. All in all a great tour that I highly recommend.

Thank you. Yes, it is the last week of the season, and the bike will be replaced next season.
This was an awesome bike trip. We road through beautiful streets to see many awesome lighthouses. Molly our guide did a great job of telling us the history at each location and made lunch memorable and fun. Would 100% recommend. What a fun day and or ably the best way to see so much in one morning.

This was a great way to experience Portland. Rick and Chris were amazing tour guides and great hosts. The lobster rolls were the best we have ever had. Splurge and get the XL for extra lobster meat! Yum!

We had a marvelous experience. The group of 9 riders was magnificent, and our guide, Scott, made for the perfect group of ten. I loved the stops we made at the lighthouses. The lunch was as advertised and delicious. The bike riding had a great mix of road, hill, and flat. My husband and I do not ride bikes on a regular basis, so the tour was just right. Thanks to Scott and the group, the day was a success!
