Beautiful views of Portland and the nearby islands. All the lighthouses and the fall foliage accompanied by a great tour guide born and bred in Portland made this tour awesome. Learned and laughed a lot!

The narration and information is top notch. However, only a few of the talking points were things you were actually seeing as you drove. In fact one, “off to your right in the water, you may see …”. We weren’t near water - for long time. I listened to the history later in my room when I wasn’t distracted from driving. It was very interesting. I did stop a few times on the side of the road to walk or take a photo. The drive was beautiful.

Unfortunately our day was windy cold and overcast but still a worthwhile trip. We didn’t see 2 lighthouses at Twin Lights State Park due to the conditions but still saw 4 lighthouses and passed by multiple islands. Best part of trip was our Narrator Mark ( a lifelong native) who provided great descriptions of what we were seeing as well as substantial history behind all. For the price, views and history, a VERY worthwhile expenditure of a couple of hours

This was a great tour! Beautiful scenery and interesting commentary. Gave lots of facts as we went by all the islands along Portland but also had some quiet time. Learned a lot and had a beautiful view along the way!

It is nice boat ride and the person narrating the trip was very knowledgeable, but we were on the bottom floor at the back of the boat where understanding what he said was difficult at times.

Uptop is great limited to around 50 people get there early. Great tour lots of information. Boat has bathroom and food bar.

If you want to be on top get in line 30 minutes prior to loading time and sit on the right side when facing the front of boat. That is where you need to be for best photo opportunities. It does get windy and cold if under 75 degrees out. Mark was a great guide and tied in his personal experience as a lifetime local. Educational and interesting facts shared.
