Our driver didn’t show up. I had no notice though he said he sent a text. He was sick and since we didn’t want to get sick I’m glad we didn’t go.

As I had said before, with private tours we need to have insured driver guides. Our guide became very sick and could not take you out on tour. We give our guides the client's phone numbers. The text message was obviously not received and we took responsibility for that. We are a small business with 100% 5-Star reviews. I am extremely sorry we could not take you out on tour with us but to try and ruin our Viator and Trip Advisor reputation is a bit over the top when you didnt even go out on tour with one of our wonderful guides. Our guide is literally still at home per doctor's orders and we all wish him well.

Pam was so pleasant and a great wealth of knowledge when it came to the history and culture of Portland and the towns we visited. We had beautiful weather, and Pam recommended a great lunch spot in Kennybunkport for lobster rolls and clam chowder. Although private tours can be pricy, we felt this one was well worth it!

The Tour Guide was great but I was a little disappointed because I thought there were going to be more Lighthouse stops. Not really sure that “Private Lighthouses” is the best way to describe this tour.

Hi Walter, Thank you for booking one of our tours.
Our tour is private and we take folks to the Portland Headlight, which is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the the Northeast and we can take folks to the "Bug Light" in South Portland, which also has a view of the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse. Those are the 3 lighthouses on the tour followed by a visit to Kennebunkport. Kennebunkport is NOT a lighthouse destination. It's the small coastal village where the Bush Family spent their summers and still own the compound. Our tours are private and at your pace. If our clients focus is on lighthouses, they will adjust to visit all 3 light houses. People cannot go into the lighthouses as they are all considered historical properties. These structures could not take all the traffic of visitors going in and out of them. Many of our client's focus is on Kennebunkport so we spend more time for them down the coast. Everyone is different. When on any private tour, the clients should always discuss their priorities with their guide and a good guide will adjust. We make sure all of our guides are flexible with our clients.
