Worth it!
My first solo trip ever was so special as Harry made it just amazing. His energy throughout the journey was just marvelous. He made sure to explain each and every detail. He was livley and caring. He also kept us entertained while we had lunch at this beautiful place, he shared his photo album. I had the most beautiful time.

Experience History with this Small Group Tour
I cant speak highly enough about this small group tour by Blackwood Tours in Sydney, Nova Scotia! Our tour guide Jim was waiting for us at the end of our cruise ship dock as we joined ten others from the ship on our educational adventure. Our guide provided information on the city, our upcoming stops, and kept everyone on schedule. I could have spent a half day at the Highland Village, a recreation/living history museum focusing on the life and culture of Nova Scotia Gaels. The views alone are worth the visit! Next, we stopped in the village of Baddek for a scrumptious lunch. Finally, we went to the Alexander Graham Bell Natural Historic Site to learn about his life and innovations. It was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful fall day in Nova Scotia, Canada!

Brian is the best!
We have been on 20+ cruises and we can say that this excursion was the best of all excursions we have taken. Our guide, Brian, was so knowledgeable of the area, took us to little out of the way places that the big buses can’t get to, stopped at a local restaurant that won an award for their chowder and had many stories to share about the area. He was also very funny - typical east coast charm! He kept an eye on the time to ensure that our group of 11 got back in plenty of time to board our ships. Highly recommend this tour!

Great info at your own pace on the Cabot Trail
This audio tour was excellent. Make sure you download it and run through the tutorial before you get to the Cabot Trail for two reasons: One, to familiarize yourself with it and Two, in case you lose your cell signal, which will happen along the way. It had GREAT info that was very helpful in gaining insight about the area.
