What are people saying about Sydney

Lovely scenery and excellent guide.
Jack was an excellent guide for the day. He knew so much history and details about the area we were passing. Easy to understand and very solicitous. The van was comfortable for six people. The day was cold and windy with quite a bit of fog, so our troup opted not to take the northern extension as we wouldn't have been able to see anything. Instead Jack suggested a trip to Baddeck which was a pretty town with a number of restaurants for us to choose from. I would recommend this trip and Jack to anyone interested in Cabot Trail and Alexander Bell Museum. I had no idea Bell was such a prolific inventor with so much interest and success in early aviation and even a submarine.

Wonderful Cabot Trail and Badeck Tour
We arrived at the Sydney port on a cruise ship. Our friendly guide met us nearby which was perfect, accommodating my 91 yr old aunt who couldn’t walk far. We had a fabulous day seeing the beautiful foliage colors on the Cabot Trail and visiting the interesting Alexander Graham Bell Museum. . Our guide, Taranpreet, was informative and very thoughtful. He stopped many times along the Cabot Trail so we could take photos making it a very special experience including stopping at a chocolate shop and taking a small ferry (which was a fun, unique experience) in Englishtown near St Ann’s Loop. We had a very memorable day. We highly recommend our guide, Taranpreet, and this tour.

Fall Foliage at the Cabot trail
This is the way to get to see the beautiful scenery the Cabot Trail has to offer !!! Guide Gary was fun and great at planning the logistics for the trip. We were on a cruise and he picked us up from the port on time. I definitely recommend this tour !

Experience History with this Small Group Tour
I cant speak highly enough about this small group tour by Blackwood Tours in Sydney, Nova Scotia! Our tour guide Jim was waiting for us at the end of our cruise ship dock as we joined ten others from the ship on our educational adventure. Our guide provided information on the city, our upcoming stops, and kept everyone on schedule. I could have spent a half day at the Highland Village, a recreation/living history museum focusing on the life and culture of Nova Scotia Gaels. The views alone are worth the visit! Next, we stopped in the village of Baddek for a scrumptious lunch. Finally, we went to the Alexander Graham Bell Natural Historic Site to learn about his life and innovations. It was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful fall day in Nova Scotia, Canada!
