Very fun and very educational. Trish was amazing! She was fun and knew a lot about the history of the plantation!

Trish was an amazing host, she is very knowledgeable and funny. My boys (teenagers) had a great time and loved Trish. I would recommend this tour and if you have Trish as your guide you won't be disappointed.
Driver and tour guide were great! Charles (driver) was very knowledgeable about the city and gave history and recommendations for restaurants. Allen (tour guide) had great pictures to share and information about the history of the plantation.
Staff is friendly and very helpful and try their best to make sure you have an exceptional experience.
Wonderful balance of history/education with the supernatural NOLA is known for! Definitely a highlight of my 20ish visits through New Orleans areas.
It's not too spooky for upper elementary+ aged kids to enjoy- mine did! However, I recommend avoiding kids under 12y or those that don't already enthusiastically embrace ghost/spooky things. Even well-behaved, kids are just...louder! I worried my 9yo questions disturbed the ambiance for anyone seeking silence on somber grounds (...I'll forever let that potential parenting annoyance riddle me with anxiety & remorse).
Aside, our tour guide took groups' photos at the front. Turns out, she accidentally took unflattering front-camera selfies instead. Which we're not even mad about because that's so precious.
TL:DR Great experience, do it!

Oh my goodness I’d recommend this to anyone! Trish was the best and even gave us a little time to use copper rods to talk to the dead as we were the last tour of the night! If you’re sensitive to spirits like I am, you can feel prickles and tingles as you walk through the house as the ghosts let you know quickly who rules the roost. To add onto the greatness of this tour, Trish was funny and gave us amazing and harrowing facts about the land and also let us know where to take photos to catch apparitions. Ask to see her photos, you’ll never be the same again!
To start off, the tour was good. However, the bus ride over there was miserable.
The bus did not have or had very little A/C. The ride over was about 30 minutes in what I presume to be 130°F heat inside the bus. By the time we got off the bus we were all throwing up.
This in turn made it hard to enjoy the experience and the rest of the evening.
So It kinda ruined the night and the next day.
So be warned that if you do this tour in the summer, bring a fan and lots of water for the ride to the plantation.
Trish was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing! She knew the history of the plantation and were able to free roam the grounds. Would recommend this tour!!! It was beautiful and very haunted!

Super cool tour. Very informative and attentive guide. Got some great photos with ghostly‘Easter eggs’ my 8 yr old grandson spotted when surfing through my photos….”grandma of the house was empty… who’s the man in that window?”
This tour was much more than expected! We experienced a full tour of Destrehan Plantation along with time to explore the grounds. Having visited before, this was an exciting twist being able to see everything at night. Trish was a fantastic guide, giving us the history, spirit stories and fun along the way.
This tour is so much fun. One of my favorite ghost tours of all time. Our guide Trish was so
great. She was funny but also very respectful and somber during the parts of the trip that touched on the horrors of slavery. This experience was a 10/10.

Trish was a very good guide with a wealth of knowledge of the house. She made just spooky enough to make it fun but not too scary for my 8 year old. I recommend visiting just for the history and maybe a ghost friend or two

Trish was a great guide. This was a fun tour. The property is stunning and it was interesting to see such a well preserved grounds/residence. I was truly impressed.
HIGHLY recommend this experience. The site itself was incredibly interesting, but Trish really made the trip. She was so knowledgeable and engaging. We toured the inside of the plantations main house, then were able to walk the grounds using dowsing rods to contact spirits. Very fun and unique experience.

Wonderful time last night. Have been to a number of plantations but never at night. The tour was amazing. Our guide, Trish, was very into the tour and a great storyteller.
Trish was absolutely wonderful! She has so much knowledge on not just this tour but on NOLA as a whole. She was so entertaining and engaging.
The plantation was beautiful. Pur tour guide, Trish, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the plantation and New Orleans in general. She was hilarious! The information we learned on the tour was so interesting. I loved that we got dowsing rods and were able to walk around the property alone and ask the spirits questions
It was a rough start guide seemed to be tired and not very welcoming. After we loaded on the bus she started warming up and trying to connect to us all as a group. She was well informed and firm in her beliefs that we find very inviting. To those who believe in spirits it was definitely an experience that we were not expecting. The land and emotions that run through you is strong and weighs deeply on you. Overall we are glad we experienced it.
All I gotta say it DO ITTT!!! I did it solo and I was with a smaller group. I had an amazing time and our tour guide Trish was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who asks!

Historical and spooky. Convenient to the French quarter for pickup, right off the street car line. The tour guide Trish was funny and informative.
Trish is a dedicated, thoughtful guide, who gets to know her guests even though our time together is short.
Also, Trish packed in a lot of solid content in a limited time. She kept it relatable for the group.
Two advantages of an evening tour are the opportunities to explore the property in the dark and take great interior photos.
FWIW, transport is included, but we met our group at the plantation since we had a rental car.
