Amazing witchcraft tour. Our guide Lacey was nice and knowledgeable. The route was about a mile long with lots of stops for stories and photos. We learned about the local witch group as well as other famous people associated with the area. Did I mention the properties are absolutely stunning? 5 star tour.

Great tour but in done during the hottest part of the day 1-3 pm so in the summer months bring umbrella/frozen water bottle/fan to keep cool

I was really excited about this tour, and our guide Morgan lived up to my expectations and went beyond them. Although she kept the privacy of many of the families that she mentioned during the tour, it was clear that she has knowledge and experience about the history of witchcraft in the Garden District that an average guide might not. I learned so much during the tour. She was also great about helping to keep us in the shade as much as possible on an extremely hot day and made sure we all had water before we left. I would absolutely take another tour with Morgan!

Lots of information, lots of great houses, but there is not a lot of places to sit and catch your breath. This might have been better in the cooler hours in the morning or later evening. That being said, it was a great tour and Hannah Kate did an amazing job!

Morgan is awesome! She is knowledgeable and has researched very thoroughly the witches history in the garden district. You will learn a lot and she makes the tour fun. It was a great day to go on my birthday as she explained the origin of the “Birthday Pin” in The French quarter.

If you’re debating whether to take this tour in the middle of a New Orleans summer, here’s the honest answer: the 100° weather is no joke. We expected to melt.
But our guide, Morgan, made it more than worth it.
From the moment she appeared with her impeccably witchy aesthetic (right down to the iconic umbrella), we knew we were in for something special. Her knowledge of New Orleans’s occult history was fascinating, and she told each story with a perfect mix of humor, history, and spooky charm. Even without having seen American Horror Story: Coven, we were completely captivated.
Morgan’s real strength is the depth of her storytelling—she shares details you won’t find in a typical guidebook. We learned so much about New Orleans’s occult history and the persecution of alleged witches in the South that it genuinely expanded my perspective. As an English teacher who teaches The Crucible and has studied the Salem witch trials extensively, I was still impressed by how much I learned. She also has a great instinct for her audience; after chatting with me, she recommended Mutinous Women by Joan DeJean, which perfectly matched my interests. I even went to a local independent bookstore afterward to buy it, wanting to support a local business and take home a piece of New Orleans I might not have discovered otherwise.
What stood out just as much was how well she managed the brutal heat. She kept us in the shade whenever possible, reminded everyone to stay hydrated, and paced the tour so no one felt rushed or overheated. Despite the extreme temperatures, we stayed comfortable the entire time thanks to her attentiveness.
The weather was relentless, but it never overshadowed the experience. Morgan’s care for the group made the tour even better.
If you’re interested in New Orleans’s witchcraft, folklore, and occult history, don’t let the forecast deter you. With Morgan as your guide, this tour is absolutely worth it.
We’d book another tour with her in a heartbeat and hope to do so sooner than later. 🩷🧙🌙

My daughter and I had the chance to take Witches Coven Walking Tour with Lacey and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lacey was an excellent tour guide with an abundance of knowledge.
Despite the rain, it was an excellent tour with lots of history and insight about the New Orleans Witch community.

What a delight! This walking tour through the beautiful Garden District was more than I expected. I learned so much lore about witches and everything that makes them unique. Celebrities and their connections to history of the beautiful city of New Orleans. My cousin and I went on this tour our last day in New Orleans and loved it! Morgan was such a great storyteller and was so helpful. She gave us recommendations at the end of our tour. It poured at the end , however it made it extra memorable and vibey!!

We went on the witches walking tour in the garden district and it was amazing! Our tour guide, Lacey, was so knowledgeable and very kind answering my many questions. This was the best way to start off our trip to New Orleans! The only way to learn about some of the current and past practicing witch families in New Orleans, who shared their stories directly with the tour company. Our tour guide Morgan was incredibly knowledgeable of the city, its history and witchcraft and answered all of our questions. She made the tour super entertaining and gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our trip. It was an awesome way to see some of the famous houses in the Garden District. Definitely wear comfortable shoes! Would recommend this to anyone interested in witches, or even just in New Orleans history.

Great tour today with Lacey. We made it all the way even with the looming thunderstorm threat. Keep in mind the age of the area where you're walking. Tree roots have upheaved sidewalks, wear smart shoes. If you're staying in the French Quarter take the St. Charles streetcar for added fun.

Lacey was well knowledgeable and it was nice to get some personable experience. She took the time to discuss all of the history in depth. We had a good time! Unfortunately there isn't a cemetery "tour" perse and the website was misleading. Not her fault.

I am shocked to see this review. Our entire tour is about the real witches in the Garden District and is extreme on this history of it.
I looked up who your guide was and she does the entire tour about what has happened with the witches families and how we practice.
The houses histories IS all about the witches stories. I'm not sure what you were looking for but our booking info clearly states, and more than once, that this is not a make believe tour and not based on tv and movies. It's all real life.
You can see from our other reviews that it is 100% witch based.
I would hate for people to see this review and think we aren't giving the tour we advertise. We are. What we aren't doing is a fictionalized tour. Is that perhaps what you were looking for?
The tour was interesting and left me with a mission to search out many of the stories told. Our guide Hannah was knowledgeable and a great guide, pausing for questions and giving us time to look around. Highly recommend.
