Lacey was well knowledgeable and it was nice to get some personable experience. She took the time to discuss all of the history in depth. We had a good time! Unfortunately there isn't a cemetery "tour" perse and the website was misleading. Not her fault.

Lacey was fantastic. The walk was beautiful the history was fascinating. Highly recommend taking this tour. We enjoy tours and have taken all the Voodoo, vampire and ghost tours NOLA has to offer this was a refreshing new look at NOLA's past and present.

I am shocked to see this review. Our entire tour is about the real witches in the Garden District and is extreme on this history of it.
I looked up who your guide was and she does the entire tour about what has happened with the witches families and how we practice.
The houses histories IS all about the witches stories. I'm not sure what you were looking for but our booking info clearly states, and more than once, that this is not a make believe tour and not based on tv and movies. It's all real life.
You can see from our other reviews that it is 100% witch based.
I would hate for people to see this review and think we aren't giving the tour we advertise. We are. What we aren't doing is a fictionalized tour. Is that perhaps what you were looking for?

Deanna was an amazing tour guide. This was the second tour we took with her and we would recommend her to everyone. Knowledgeable history from a native New Orleans resident. This is not a television/ movie tour but a true history tour.

I was expecting a little more, maybe some artifacts or a spell viewing. But the walk around was very informative about history and events that took place in a small block radius. Our tour guide Lacey was very informative and took time to answer the groups questions before moving on from stop to stop.

After replying to this review I went back and watch the body camera footage. It seems that the tour was definitely a longer walk since a pregnant person in your group asked for a bathroom stop and after my guide offered her husbands office which was close, the pregnant woman wanted a drink at PJs which the guide told you was out of the way. Upon requesting it anyway, the guide took you all there.
That added quite a bit of walking to the tour and could have been avoided with the office stop your guest didn’t want.
Conversations about houses and architecture was more than usual since the guide was being asked questions about those very topics.
My guide went out of her way to accommodate you all. You responded with a 2 star review. That seems unfair considering the circumstances.
With that said, I will honor what I said below and help to make your experience better just as we will use your review as an example as to why we can’t alter our tour routes for people’s desires
My original response is below:
Hi. I am the owner of the company and I am very disappointed to know that you were not happy with the tour. As seen in most of the reviews we get, there is a wealth of information about the Witches and their families That we share on that tour. There is very little about the architecture and the houses themselves other than to point out certain factors on the homes that come from or are based around witchcraft.
I wish that you had reached out When the tour ended so I could have discussed this with you and the guide. Well I wasn’t the one to personally conduct this particular tour that day, I am aware of how the guide You had presents her tour and it should follow right along with mine.
I would love an opportunity to speak to you about this and perhaps give you some extra insight on the Witches and their families. I can also send you a PDF that is an addendum to the tour that I give. If you would like that, please reach out to me at 504-442-5868. Most of our guests do not leave disappointed and I don’t want you to be left with that experience.. I know that your tour guide that you had would not want you to be disappointed either and I know how diligent she is about making sure people enjoy themselves.. Perhaps I can help make this a little better well at the same time understanding a little more from you and working to implement improvements if needed.
