Fun to do, but a lot of the others in the group seemed a bit lost with the directions. More scientific feeling than expected, but still had fun overall.

My sister and I thought this was a terrible experience. Don’t be fooled by the “one on one”. This is not the case. We both left with disgusting smelling perfume. I’m sorry , but after spending $154 each we should have had more help/guidance. A complete waste of time and money. I could have bought my favourite perfume for what I pd for this farce of a gimmicky experience. Save your money and go buy something you love , because if you end up hating it as we did, they don’t care, even when you voice your dissatisfaction, they shrug and do nothing to help. Terrible, terrible experience.

A most rewarding experience... the training session was hands on, and we learned and smelled all kinds of different scents to make our own perfume/cologne. Our teacher was just right there to help and give us advise. WE made three scents, and for the price of the session, we could only take one, but I liked my other scent as well, so I bought that one also. I think this was the best experience that I had from the French Quarter, and brought home high class products for my own use as well as gifts.

Great and fun experience for girls night activity or date night. It was fun learning about the scents and fragrances. The staff was very accommodating with us. Looking forward to reordering more of my new fragrance.

Be prepared to smell lots of fragrances. Don't attend if you have a cold or current sinus issues. If coffee beans aren't offered, please ask for them to clear your nose from previous scents.

This experience was so fun.
Sara showed us how to pick our premixed oils and organ oils. I felt like a true chemist. We had a large group and we all enjoyed it. The lab coats were such a nice touch. Thank you Sara for still in 2025 sanitizing everything including the lab coats.

We had an amazing time at Tijon New Orleans as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. Such a fun class and experience. John the owner was very informative & the staff were all friendly and nice. You get a complimentary cologne/ perfume made by the owner as well as the perfume you make and complimentary champagne. We will definitely recommend to others when they visit New Orleans. Even though the owner let us know that there is now one in our hometown of Houston Tx.

My daughter and I made our own custom perfume and it was so fun. The instructor was fantastic and explained everything so well and was happy to answer any questions. They have so many scents to choose from- you get to make 3 scents and then pick your favorite. Your favorite gets bottled up and you pick a name for your scent. So glad we did this! Made some great perfume and wonderful memories. And the shop as some amazing perfumes you can purchase along with gorgeous jewelry- we each found a little something we loved. Highly recommend!

This was an educational and fun event! There are so many different scented oils, including a very unique one called baked bread, that it can seem a bit overwhelming trying to narrow it down to formulate your own personal fragrance. But the staff here encourage you and walk you through the entire process.

I had a so much fun with this experience. It was a great way to learn about fragrances and discovering how different scents paired with one another. It was also fun engaging with the other participants and bouncing ideas off one another. I was very proud of the cologne that I made. This is definitely something everyone should try when they visit!

This class was SO much fun! The Tijon staff are knowledgeable, funny, & very patient if it takes some people in your class a little longer to create their scent. My hubby & I had an absolute BLAST! The champagne toast at the end tops it all off!

This was an amazing experience. Dayton was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. The shop was very cute and all scents for purchase are made in house as well. I went for my birthday and my bottle was engraved Happy Birthday. So cute!!!!!!
