Jason was awesome. He explained everything we needed to know about kayaking and told us about the seals and turtles and whales and the reef. We truly had a wonderful time. Jason and Nicholas were accommodating and helpful throughout our experience. I highly recommend this adventure.

On highway 30, just past mile marker 14 across from the "Welcome to Olowalu" sign heading west. We have a black SUV with Gabriel's Ohana on the door and a big wooden trailer. Coming from Lahaina/Kaanapali side it is just past mm 14.5 and the sign reads Aloha. Along the shore, no parking lot.

Two Clear kayaks with 2 adults each and one small child in each. Pontoons were added for stability on this calm, clear day. Ease of mind with small kids. Didn’t need to look thru the bottom because of the conditions here when it is calm. The kayak bottom can get a little fouled by sand you track in and water you splash in off the oars. Very informative and good humored staff. Nice refreshing pineapple snack.

Get ready to have a great time with a wonderful family business! Gabriel and his Father,Jason, are the main tour guides for the kayaking and snorkeling. Gabriel’s mom does the administrative work for the tours behind the scenes. Gabriel’s friend even works as an assistant tour guide and she is just as friendly and helpful as the guys. Once you park your car and make your way to their location, their friendliness and warmth will draw you in. It’s not fake or an act, they are just a close knit family and you can feel it. They really care about you having a great experience and they deal with their customers in a calm, patient way. We appreciated the family energy during the tour.saw some turtles and lots of coral. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

This was a lovely and relaxing way to start the day. Gabriel was extraordinarily attentive and provided so much interesting information about the islands; information we hadn’t heard on other tours throughout our vacation. We really appreciated that. The kayaks were in very good condition and the dry bags and snack came in handy. While we didn’t see many fish or turtles, we had a nice time taking in the scenery with good people.

The guides were nice but you need to be ready for a lot of random stories early in the morning. We didn’t see any fish. We did see a threesome of humpback and a couple of sea turtles.

One of the best memories from our trip to the island! We went out with Jason and his crew twice. We are both non-swimmers. The clear bottom kayaks got us excited to try the snorkeling afterwards. Jason took a lot of time with us to ease us into the water and go over basics. We spent plenty of time in shallow water first. Then he personally took us out for snorkeling. Both of us hadn’t been in the water in years but we couldn’t get enough! Jason made it fun and provided a lot of information along the way. We’ve done kayaking before in groups, this was by the far the most fun we had. If you do the snorkeling afterwards you won’t be disappointed! I can’t think of a better way to get introduced to snorkeling and you get to hang out with some great people during your trip!

I booked this for my husband I. I am so glad I did. This one by far one our top favorite experiences we’ve had in a vacation. Jason was our guide for kayaking and snorkeling and had a wealth of information about the island and of course the sea life below us. It was so inspiring to see how much Jason loves educating people about the ocean and enjoying the excitement of first time snorkelers like myself after seeing the intricate world of the coral reefs for the first time. My husband is a swimmer, I am not. Jason made me feel so comfortable in the water and taught me how to breathe while wearing the snorkel gear. He is by far the best tour guide I’ve ever had and such a delightful person to be around. You are almost guaranteed to swim near a green sea turtle and the fish are everywhere! Next time I visit Maui I definitely want to bring a GoPro!

Jason and his sons were amazing and led a highly informative, entertaining, and well organized morning for our group. The calm clear waters and extensive reefs of the hidden gem of Olowalu were perfect, and Jason’s knowledgeable explanations and many stories enriched the experience greatly. The most memorable aspect we enjoyed was the deep generosity of spirit, time, and warmth given to our whole family. Our two sons kept talking enthusiastically about Jason and the incredible snorkeling tour that he guided long afterwards. Absolutely amazing experience and THE highlight of our trip to Maui. Our Maui trip would not have been the same without this tour. This was the first time that my girlfriend and I went kayaking and snorkeling. We were a little worried at first as neither of us are strong swimmers, but Jason made sure we were safe and comfortable. Before we knew it we were snorkeling out in the ocean and admiring Maui's "Mother Reef" at Olowalu, which was truly an experience that I'll never forget. Jason is such a fun person to talk to and throughout the tour he will teach you about the ocean and its creatures (you even get to hold some of them!). He is always checking to make sure everyone is safe and is super patient with everyone, especially with first-time snorkelers. If you are hesitant because you have never been in the ocean, there is no reason at all to be worried. Looking back, if we chose not to do this tour with Jason, we definitely would have regretted that decision. Probably the only experience we would consider doing again if we came back to Maui one day 😊

WOW! Absolutely WOW! First of all the communication was taken to another level!, Jason texted individually personalized directions the day before and the morning of pictures showing all the Kayaks lined up so we could find the meeting point easily. Jason was so friendly and absolutely loves what he does! He gave us so much history and ocean knowledge , found us creatures to hold and look at. He was so gentle with the animals and so educational. He did not rush us at all, made sure we were ok and we all ventured off! The extras were incredibly great that he supplied, reef safe sunscreen, snacks, water, rash guards, dry bags but the icing on the cake was the fresh pineapple he taught us the best way to cut and we all had a great snack! Thank you for making my 1st time to Maui a super memorable one! I have so much respect for the ocean now:)

Jason is an amazing, knowledgeable, compassionate guide. You get ocean 101 on this tour! We kayaked for the designated time listed then headed back to shore to leave the kayaks and snorkel for a couple of hours. He helped me get back to shore when my leg cramped up on me and I truly appreciated him for that. He checked in with everyone often and ensured our safety.

The kayaking with Jason our tour guide was a great experience. He taught us some marine biology, history and how to kayak and snorkel. My girlfriend and I had such a great time snorkeling with Jason. My gf doesn’t know how to swim but Jason was patient enough to teach her how to snorkel with a life jacket. Jason guided her while I swam next to them. If you don’t know how to swim it’s okay because Jason can pull two people at a time with his long fins. That was the furthest my gf has been out into the ocean. Great conversations and great laughs. Id recommend bringing your kids on the kayak tour because they get a chance to use a water toy to get Jason wet at anytime during the tour. Jason is a talker so you can wet him anytime during the tour. 10/10 for the price and experience.

Jason was so proud of her for making it out as far as she did. The fitted life vests are a big help due to the under the leg straps keeping it centered on your body making the wearer very buoyant. Poseidon himself helped me face my fear of getting in the ocean. Great experience kayaking and snorkeling for my first time with the father and son duo. I have never really snorkeled before and am too scared jumping off a boat into the ocean so this was a fantastic first time experience. We were able to practice by the shore so I could learn and get comfortable. Nice small group. Swam with so many fish and a sea turtle! One of my best experiences ever. Also closer to Kaanapali.
