Plenty to see with a variety of species in their habitat. Clear information and good design for movement throughout the center. My husband and I spent three hours at The Maui Ocean Center. Great visuals.

Great place for young kids but overpriced for adults. It takes less than 1 hour to complete the tour so don’t pay parking more than 1 hour.

There were some cool exhibits but I expected to see more sea life and was very disappointed that the whale sphere experience was not showing the day we visited. So to me it was just ok and not worth the price.

So many sea creatures to see. So many colors, shapes and habits to learn about. The humpback whale film was an nice experience and the in person educators shared interesting information. We spent 2 hours and didn't take time for a drink or visiting the large gift shop. We are readers though.

Nice aquarium with a mix of inside and outside exhibits. Nice gift shop and restaurant on site. A good way to spend a couple of hours.

We had a wonderful time seeing all the fish and learning about them—my two-year-old especially loved the sharks. There was a brief, scary moment when my 2-year-old wandered off to the nearby playground, but the staff was absolutely amazing. They acted quickly, communicated clearly with one another, and helped locate him right away. While I was understandably panicked, their calm, attentive, and professional response made a huge difference, and I’m incredibly grateful for how they handled the situation.

So much history is part of this experience! I truly appreciated it. The 3D sphere was like diving with humpback whales! The focus on conservation and restoration was well done. The native species of fish presented in small enough spaces to really see them was thrilling. The many children there were totally delighted!

I love the ocean center since I was a child myself. It’s always appeared to be very clean, I loved all the attractions, they even have a 3D attraction that makes it seem like you’re amongst whales which is very cool. There are a few areas I wish had more of but overall it is a great aquarium.

The grounds are well kept, the animals are beautiful but it’s a very small place. It took our group with four children less than an hour to go through and that was with stopping and watching the sharks for an extended time. Also children under 5 are not permitted to participate in the whale sphere which all of the children in our group are.not worth the price point in my honest opinion.

The literature stated to plan 2-2.5 hours at MOC but my nickname is Ocean Mama and I knew I'd need more time. I stayed between 4-5 hours literally reading every placard and taking time to observe all the creatures, known and unknown. My visit to Maui from Oahu was expressly for luxurious time at the Ocean Center. It did not disappoint and far exceeded my high expectations having already visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium many times in the past.
You are a treasure. Thank you for all you are doing to promote ocean awareness and to educate us on how valuable the ocean is to our lives in every way. Without it, no Earth. I'm so deeply pleased to have had this opportunity.
It's magic and beauty will stay with me for life.

There is a lot to see and learn about. There were a lot of exhibits and a lot of different kinds of sea life to see. Don’t forget to visit the 3D Sphere, it’s so cool!

Very informative and the fish are amazing. But the stairwells where the presentations are given are difficult to impossible for a handicapped person.. My wife stumbled and almost fell due to a protruding rock. Also it's $100.00 round trip taxi fare from the cruise ship dock. I would recommend going to tge aquarium just walk slow and careful

It was a unique and beautiful display of the different fish species and overview of the coral reefs. My husband absolutely enjoyed the one of a kind experience as he loves fish and nature.

It is educational as well as entertaining. There are interactive experiences with sea creatures as you learn about caring for our oceans. The highlight of the day was a 3-D movie where you come face-to-face with humpback whales. Most of the exhibits are handicap friendly. I would recommend it to any visitor to Maui..
