Absolutely rubbish and Viator customerservice even worse

Waited at the designated spot for the tour operator to arrive - checked with several people in the area and they confirmed we were waiting at the correct location. Contacted Viator to state problem; they responded that they also could not contact the tour operator. After an hour of waiting, we had to leave; asked Viator for a refund - they sent an email apologising for inconvenience but no refund possible with no other explanation!

Hi Samantha, Thank you for your feedback. You made a reservation on viator on 14th of April for 21st of August. On 15th April at 9h20m we confirm your ride at 12h on viator back office. Here you have the proof: "Hi Samantha, confirmed at 12h. Have a safe trip Diogo Bação Apr 15, 2024, 09:20 AM" On the day, you weren't there at 12h, the confirmed timeslot. We worked all day until 20h because we were fully booked and no one meet us telling us your name, and a bicycle with 9 meters per 3 meters it's hard no to see on that area. Probably you went to the wrong place. Regards, Diogo Bação
