We enjoyed every bit of our 9 hour day with Paula. She made it easy and fun to see many different sights outside Lisbon. She provided good perspective and was wonderful tailoring ideas and conversation for our 7 and 8 year old daughters. We weren't sure whether this was guided at each location, but it was mostly a drop off with great tips on the must-sees. We were happy to have the whole day planned and stress free, and we enjoyed all of our stops despite closures in Sintra. The van was comfortable and air conditioned, and Paula was prompt and a great driver. I would recommend this experience to families like us.

Jorje was an amazing guide! He kept us laughing and singing as he taught us about the coastal towns. Many attractions in Sintra were closed due to extreme heat and fire hazards. We were happy anyway-we wouldn’t change a thing!

Paula was great! We had a wonderful day seeing the coast. Cascais was very pretty and we enjoyed Sintra.. Before we left Lisbon Paula took us to the original bakery for pasteles, which were amazing! Paula was the best and we would definitely recommend her and this trip.

Emilio was simply fantastic. He was very attentive to our request to finding some big waves for our group included some major surfers . The lunch at his special seaside restaurant was phenomenal. The grilled octopus and claims were memorable . We so enjoyed our 10 hours togther and highly recommend Emilio.

Extremely fun tour with Bruno. He customized the trip perfectly for us and really knows about Portugal and it’s history. He took backroads to avoid an accident on the highway and we zipped to Sintra with no problem. This tour was a great way to spend our first day in Lisbon! We would hire Bruno again in a minute!

Booked this private tour for 6 and Ruy George was our driver/guide. He was fantastic. When we got to Sintra we learned that the workers just did an unannounced strike so we couldn't go in the palace. No problem as Ruy switched to plan B and we went on to see downtown Sintra, Cascais, Cabo da Roca, Baca do Inferno and other coastline spots. Everyone loved the trip and Ruy shared great history about the area. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting a great overview of that area of Portugal. Thanks Ruy and Viator!

This was a great tour! Ruy was our guide for the day and he was worth every penny. We had tickets for Peña Palace for when it opened but when we arrived, it turned out the workers were on an unannounced strike and wouldn’t be opening until much later in the day. We decided to pivot and visit Quinta de Regaleira instead which personally I found to have a more interesting backstory anyway. As we were heading back to car, Ruy got word that Peña had opened back up so we decided to try our luck. Because of him and his expertise we were able to avoid multiple long lines and waits. He was super knowledgeable and friendly and had lots of interesting facts to share. Would highly recommend to all those considering booking.

Jorge was our driver. We paid for a private tour, so just my husband and I. We started at Peña Palace in Sintra. We had a 10:30am entry ticket, but could’ve made the 10:00. Be sure to bring a jacket (even if the weather in Lisbon is warm) as it is VERY windy. The walk from the ticket area to the palace is a ten minute walk up hill (if you are fit/able to walk with ease). Jorge entered the Palace with us and provided some historical information about the palace and its occupants. Next we visited the Quinta da Regaleria and saw the amazing Initiation Well. Next on to Cabo da Roca. Very windy!! Well worth the stop with beautiful views. Cascais was next and honestly, just our lunch stop by the sea. Traffic was very heavy. We could’ve skipped and spent more time in Sintra. Estoril was simply a “drive by”. Jorge was prompt on pick up, excellent English and pleasant to talk with. If you are on the private tour, know what you’d like to accomplish and communicate clearly.

Amazing private tour. Jorge was awesome. We really enjoyed his company and he felt like a friend by the end of the day. Jorge was very knowledgeable and was there for all our needs. (I also enjoyed talking football with him) Cascais, Cabo de Roca, and Azenhas do Mar were our favorite stops, though everything was beautiful. Wish we could do it all over again.

Jorge was amazing. The tour operator saw that we were on a pedestrian street and sent us a screen shot of where to meet. Jorge was there early and waiting on us. He was super knowledgeable on history as well as where to go. He made seeing all of the sights so easy and fun taking out all of the stress! He even took us to an amazing restaurant with sweeping water views with amazing views! Highly recommend! Ask for Jorge!!!

We are a group of 6 friends who decided to book the Sintra Cabo da Roca Cascais Estoril private tour and we are so happy we did! Our tour guide, Isabel, was amazing. She was so patient and friendly that we decided to book her again for a different tour on the following day. She was very professional yet personable and throughout the tour she engaged our attention by sharing her wealth of knowledge pertaining to the visited areas. She showed us so many wonderful places with breathtaking sceneries and interesting facts. We stopped for lunch at a spectacular
restaurant overlooking the ocean. The views were stupendous and the food was one of the best and mostly delicious meals we had during our stay in Portugal. This day was truly memorable and we are so happy we booked it!
