Bruno was the best tour guide very knowledgable of Portuguese history. He showed us every little things in Lisbon narrow street he made us experience to ride the tram and subway what a great adventure..

Our guide, Marina, was fabulous. Knew a lot, and if didn’t, looked it up on her phone. Even played some Fada for us on her phone. She adjusted walking speed, etc for my husband who is not too fast. Time flew by. Very worth it!

This was our last day here in Lisbon and it was amazing. With small magic touches from Bruno adding knowledge and explaining things while enjoying the experience and visiting places made it to the next level. We highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Lisbon and if you are staying for 3 or more days we definitely recommend taking it first so you learn about the places, restaurants, historical places etc.

This full day tour touched a lot of key points that you would like to see in the City of Lisbon. The tour guy was very professional and provided us a lot of good history at every key location. Highly recommended.
Lisbon is pretty and there is no better way to see it other than with a local. We were picked up on time by Mihaela who was great. She was funny and extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning the history, site seeing and tasting amazing Pastel de nata!. Mihaela also gave us great tips of where to eat in the city and what to do. Highly recommended.
This is a good one day tour of Lisbon to get a feel for the city and its history and to see the highlights. It is a nice mix of riding and walking. You are walking most of the afternoon be aware of that. Miguel was very good and shared a lot of background information, as well as being enjoyable to be with. Our only problem was that our English-speaking tour ending up being 3 English speaking guests and three Spanish-speaking guests. Miguel did a great job of explaining things in both languages but it certainly reduced the effectiveness of the tour and the amount of interaction between the guests and with the guide.
Very informative tour of the city of Lisboa. Everything You want to see in Lisboa city center is up-hill haha. The Behlem Tower and the Mãe dÁgua Mother of Water were not open as it was Good Friday. The Jeronimos Monastery was very beautiful and I was awestruck by the intricate design and the work that it took to build something so beautiful that long ago. The walking tour and the lookout are well worth the effort as it seems you are going up-hill both ways. The Portuguese egg tart pastry, pastel de nata is to die for. We bought more throughout our stay. Andres, our guide, did a very good job

This was a great tour. Our guide, Patricia picked us up from our hotel and gave a preview of the day. We started with the Belem Tower and then walked over to the Monument to the Discoveries. From there we headed to taste the custard tart pastel de nata. From there we walked over to the Jeronimos Monastery. We did not go into the monastery but the adjacent church. If you want to visit the monastery, then that would be done to your own expense and at another time.
We then took a tour of the viaduct and then head to the historic center where we had a walking tour and took in some more sights. We visited St George's Castle and afterward had a sample of Ginja - a cherry liqueur that is drank from little chocolate cup.
And finally, more walking through the little streets and ended up in Rossio square.
We enjoyed our Lisbon day tour. Our guide was very enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our driver was very careful. We learned a lot and would highly recommend this tour as a perfect way to get an overview and feel of the city to begin your Lisbon stay.
We had a wonderful day and learned so much about Lisbons history. Our guide, Miguel, was excellent and very personable. Kudos to the very courteous driver, Tiago, who maneuvered through the city and small spaces without any problems. We had an enjoyable traditional Portuguese lunch along the way. We highly recommend this tour.

If you are in Lisbon for only a short time, this would NOT be a tour I recommend. Does not see the key points of Lisbon. Viator partners with local tours and ours was CoolTour Lisbon. Would not recommend, slow, boring, lunch was a 'trap' suggests everyone eat together and it took 90 min. Guide also smoked, so 2 min before get into van for next stop you could be sitting scrunched next to smoker horrible if you are ex or non smoker. Our van was full, 4 of the people decided to go their own way right after lunch, I chose to to the same early afternoon. Not worth Suggest Food and Wine Tour 1/2 day which was so much better
This is a great tour. We got a comprehensive overview of all of Lisbon. Guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, and adapted the tour to meet our interests.
This tour is definetly worth its money. You are driven around the city and if you have to walk, most of the walking is downhill which is nearly impossible in Lisbon.
You get to visit Belem and taste a pastry there which is included, you visit the Watermuseum right before lunch which was very nice, the restaurant even provided a vegetarian dish which is not easily found in Portugal. Afterwards you go to one of the best view points in the city and can optional visit the castle on your own expanse. Then you take a stroll through the city to the Fado museum where the driver will pick you up again and lets you off at one of the drop off points as the end of the tour.
Elisabeth was a very nice and knowledgable guide, Thiago a very good driver.
I fully enjoyed the tour.
This day tour of Lisbon was absolutely PERFECT in every way!! Miguel of CoolTours Lisbon was both knowledgeable and passionate about the city's history, culture, and food too. He took us to a local place for lunch and we sampled the original pastry the country is known for. We highly recommend this company and guide whose English is excellent.

Wonderful first day in Lisbon, what a start to our holiday. Made special by the driver and guide and also the new friends we met, we all got on so well together. Lovely lunch at Aquas Livres near to the Museu da Agua, couldn't fault this trip.

This was a great overview for a first time visitor to Lisbon. Inez did an excellent job guiding us through the city in spite of the rain. I enjoyed being with a small group. There was no difficulty hearing the interesting information about beautiful Lisbon. A visit to Pateis de Belem for a delicious custard was a special treat. Lunch at a local restaurant by the reservoir was delicious. I highly recommend this small group city tour, especially for a first time visitor.

Nice tour, well paced, not rushed at all. We went to all the places mentioned, our guide Elizabeth was informative and the van was very comfortable and cool on a very hot day.

If you only have 1 full days in Lisbon, this is a good day tour for you, all the points listed in the tour were visited.
We drove by famous streets, bridges of Lisbon, including Avenida La Libertad, stopped at Tower of Belem, Discovery Monument, mid morning snack of egg custard at famous bakery, visited St. Geronimo Cathedral. Brief stop for lunch at restaurant that serve mostly locals, delicious seafood. During afternoon visited water reservoir, walked through Alfama neighborhood, tour guide Daniel bough each of us a shot of Ginjinha, another cathedral, visited Castle St. George, which has beautiful view of city and ocean, and visited another Miradouros before dropping us at Rossio Square. It is a packed day, well planned and worth the money.
OK tour which required us to travel from hotel Myriad on the river to downtown. Did so by train. Small van -- we had 9 people in it so it was packed. My wife sat up front and I was in 2nd row. Saw a number of sights in Lisbon, including the St. George Castle. Sights were fine and guide spoke good English. Van was a bit hot as was the day in Lisbon, but most of our time was on foot. One party of 2 from Argentina spoke Spanish so the guide really gave the tour in 2 languages. This provided some dead time at the various sights.
Great time and experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, flexible, and friendly. Our driver certainly knew all the best ways to navigate Lisbon traffic...safely. We could stay longer at sites we liked, and move on when we wanted. The guide was a veritable encyclopedia or Portuguese history and culture. She completed the very vigorous university training to be a certified tour guide. Strongly recommend a small group tour...
Great tour! Bring comfy shoes as lots of walking, as well as riding in a van. Saw so many places and sites, stopped and had the famous Belém pastry and coffee. Had a wonderful, authentic Portuguese lunch, and then continued our tour. I highly recommend this tour!
Interestig, but not as much content as we would have liked
Tour guides helped us manuever through the must see places in a timely fashion.
Group was very diverse, including one person with need of a walking frame and two Spanish only language, so the friver was quite challenged. Perhaps tour description should be more clear that it is a walking tour as well as drive and consolidate tours to a single language. Overall the driver handled the group as well as possible and took us to local places we probably would nit have seen, like the luncheon restaurant,
Due to a staffing issue, the owner of the company stepped in and took us on a wonderful day tour of Lisbon. We had one couple who only spoke Spanish and the owner spent equal time in translating in English and Spanish so all would be accommodated. We did not have to stand in line for tickets and spent an enjoyable side trip to taste the delicious pastry Lisbon is known for. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour company.
