Itinerary

After hotel pickup in Lisbon, you’ll travel to the striking landscapes of Natural Park of Arrábida in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Within the park, your guide reveals the diverse flora and fauna of the beautiful region.

Ascend to the park’s highest point to capture photographs of the Sado River and city of Setubal, and then descend to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea for a swim.

Dry off, return to your vehicle, and then continue to Azeitão to purchase lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Grasp the opportunity to sample torta de Azeitão, a sweet sponge cake native to the village, before ascending to a Moorish castle.

From the castle’s hilltop perch, it’s possible to enjoy sweeping views of the Nature Park of Arrábida. Your tour concludes with drop-off at your Lisbon hotel.

Our tour guide was fantastic. He catered the day based on what we wanted to do, giving us options to choose from and making some detours based on what we said we were interested in. He didn't rush us at all at any of the stops, telling us that this was our vacation, and we should make sure to take time to enjoy it! His excitement was infectious and he had lots of great information to share with us about the region, that really enhanced the trip. We had a great day and would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic trip with Sonia and Pedro!!! We got so much more than we expected. The whole trip felt very exclusive, we were pretty much the only tourists at every destination!! No crowds at all, as a person who been around the world i can say you don't get this anywhere . We've seen an old castle and town of Sesimbra with great views, amazing Arrabida with lunch in tiny little hidden Beach village called Portico and the best vineyard i ever visited and so much more. If you are looking to step off the bitten path and see real Portugal Sonia and Pedro is your peeps! Hands down best day trip we ever had!
