Eating Europe Lisbon walking Food Tour

This was an outstanding food tour provided by Eating Europe. It took us off the beaten path and to restaurants far outside the tourist areas. This is definitely something you want to try if you want to be adventurous. Carlos was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the restaurants we visited and the food we would be trying. The samples were great. A very decent taste for sure. I read some food tour reviews that said what they got amounted to a single bite or drop of wine. This was not the case for this tour. What was also nice was it was quite small. There were only seven of us and I think the maximum they take is eight. So it was a fantastic size. We also were fortunate to have had a great group of people in our group. We were definitely friends at the end and even made plans with one of the group to meet for a meal a few days later. Do not hesitate to book this food tour. It was well worth it and if you’re fortunate to have Carlos as your guide it’ll be that much better.

Interesting experience in a local neighborhood. Food, drinks , and restaurants were all great. Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable about the local sights and historical info. He was very friendly and made the tour more fun. Live like a local for a bit. Our group was vegetarian and all the restaurants accommodated our diets. Wear comfy shoes , parts were a little hilly.

Krisztina is a delightful host. She led us around a neighborhood that is not a tourist attraction but still close to our hotel, stopping at five places to sample Portuguese food and wine. All were delicious.
