At your appointed time, board the catamaran Marquesa, a spacious 69-foot (21-meter) vessel with plenty of deck space, at Key West’s historic seaport. Enjoy the sun and sea breezes as you journey into the blue waters off the coast.
Upon arrival at the Florida Reef, the only living coral barrier reef in the United States and the third-largest in the world, assemble the snorkeling gear and listen to a quick safety briefing with some basic instruction from the experts.
Then, jump into the tropical water for swimming and snorkeling. The shallow reef waters are perfect for easy snorkeling. See more than 600 species of colorful fish, vivid coral, and other sea life.
Back on board, take a seat and kick back with a refreshing beverage—beer, wine, or soft drinks are included on this cruise. And keep an eye out for a pod of dolphins, which could appear next to the boat at any time.
The cruise concludes with a return trip to the Key West Seaport.

Absolutely amazing! We had such a great time, we went back a second time! The crew is more than hospitable, helpful, and very well educated! The drinks were great, the views were beautiful, and we saw plenty of Marine life! Would go back for a third snorkel excursion for sure!

Seeing all the colorful fish was surreal it was amazing so many different species coral was beautiful the crew was amazing and so friendly it was a perfect day and the water was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting the keys.

We had an amazing time on our trip! the crew was amazing and were amazing teachers for those who have never snorkeled before. Drinks were flowing and sights were amazing when snorkeling. Also they allowed people to jump off the side of the boat if they wanted to and me and my friends took full advantage of that! So much fun and would go again!

Great overall experience. Ship crew were top-notch. Tons of space to stretch out during the cruise to/from snorkeling location (approximately 45-min each way). Quality snorkeling gear provided for use and detailed instructions provided to make the best of your time in the water. Nice selection at the open bar and long “operating hours”. Saw lots of different fish but plant and coral areas were a little disappointing. Snorkeling is not one of my favorite pastimes but this experience seemed just right based on everything provided. Tip: if you want to maximize your time in the water take one of the authorized side exits vs the stairs in the front of the ship. I believe the trip is maxed out at 75 pax. We had 73 so it took quite a bit of time for the last person to get in the water using the stairs. Enjoy!

It was exactly as we anticipated. There were a lot of people on the boat, but the staff was great and well prepared. The equipment they provided was in good condition, but I felt the water wasn't that clear and I had a hard time seeing a lot on the reef.

Very rude staff.. 10 mins of snorkeling in 30 feet water. They were in big rush.. just roamed around in the water to kill time. Very rude staff. Very bad experience. Over crowded too.

Beautiful weather calm seas. Entertaining & knowledgeable captain & crew. Great experience on board. All equipment needed available & in great condition. Enjoyed hour at reef snorkeling. Bartenders make a great Rum punch & full bar. We will do again when we return to visit family. Wonderful Fun

Actual snorkeling was cool but mediocre experience because the boat operators and instructors were jerks (unfortunately,
especially to foreigners). They could have been a lot more patient and kind, especially with those who needed extra help or were timid. Will look for a different company next time.

This snorkel trip was nothing short of amazing. The crew was so fun & energetic!! We seen lots of fish and some sharks! The ride to the reef was gorgeous, along with everything else. Definitely recommend to book!

I booked this excursion for my birthday and it was AMAZING! Saw tons of fish, turtles, a dolphin, and manta ray! The reef was gorgeous, drinks were amazing, and the crew members were incredible! Would 1000/10 recommend this to anyone and I plan to book with them again in the future! Cannot say enough about this experience, everyone on that boat had a great time!

Booked the excursion, called the office. They said, check-in time was 1230. That was incorrect. The boat left at 12:30. We missed the trip. .They did not refund

Boat was too crowded. Crew and captain weren’t friendly. Boat was small. There are better trips for the same price..try sunset charters.

Too many people and not enough snorkeling. It took an hour to get to the spot,15 minutes to park. Only 45 minutes of snorkeling and they don’t serve drinks until the ride back.

Thanks for coming out with us! Yes — the reef is about an hour’s ride away because it’s 7.5 miles offshore and part of the third largest reef system in the world. Depending on wind, current, and swell, it can take our captain and crew a little extra time to safely moor inside the sanctuary (safety first, even if Mother Nature takes her time). And while we know an early drink sounds tempting, the Coast Guard isn’t too keen on us serving cocktails and then sending guests face-down with snorkel masks in the open ocean. That’s why we save the bar for after you’ve enjoyed the beauty of Key West beneath the waves. Glad you joined us!
