Key West’s original “frightseeing” tour provides an evening of fear and fun. It’s a chance to travel back in time to another era. This shadowy, sinister tour departs nightly from the Front Street Depot at the corner of Front and Duval Streets.
Climb aboard the Trolley of the Doomed for an experience unlike any other. Uncover Key West’s darkest secrets and hear the stories of those lost souls who many locals believe still wander the streets of this historic island town.
Your tour will travel past many of the island's most haunted locations—the Marrero House, the Porter Mansion, and even the Hanging Tree. Of particular interest is the former home of Robert Eugene Otto, aka the Artist's House. There, imprisoned in the attic by Dr. Otto's wife, Robert the Doll suffered the abandonment of his lifelong companion, and his mischievous ways took a more sinister turn.
Come with an open mind and see if any ghosts appear on this frightful, fun ghost tour. It’s a ride on the dark side.

It was fun and a great history lesson. Traveling somewhat the same route as the hop on/hop off trolly but with added information and some additional landmarks added.
The tour guide was awesome, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Fun experience for everybody. This is my 2nd time on this tour and I would do it a third time as well.
You ride on a trolley and they discuss different places and haunting in key west,it states it's an hour tour but actually it was about an hour and a half well worth it,our driver Danilo and our tour guide Dead Fred were great.
We enjoyed the tour. Lots of history. It was a very hot evening, and the crew still gave us a wonderful tour! Our driver was amazing and the character host was fun.
Check in on time , the tour is very family friendly but you must be able to climb stairs not a lot but some . They do allow you to stay on board if you want to skip that part. You learn lots of history and see lots of stuff with out the heat. The pass two graveyards for orb photos possibly but construction and sound ordinance stop them from going to the third . Terrific gift shop
Enjoyed hearing about Key West history and wild stories about it's characters. It was comfortable sitting in a trolley, especially since it started raining.
Boring. Only 1 stop at museum. The rest of the time was listening to stories on a tram. Save your money.
Lots of fun. Would recommend a later departure time, after dark. Edward did a great job as did our driver. “Yes, we are the doomed” was fun! Kids were fascinated with Robert story, now we are going to Fort East Martello Museum to visit Robert tomorrow.
Not a haunted house, type experience but more like a journey through time with overtones of hauntings.
Good tour, lots of info. Funny bits also. Did not know about some of the more Randy residents of old Timey Key West!!
Calico Jack is an amazing story teller. Bring a fan. Go after dark for a spookier experience. Overall a fun ride.
Great if you enjoy a mix of history, ghost stories and a little quirky fun. Loved the sights and seeing the legendary places in person
The tour was cheesy and poorly presented. The guide didn’t ge ghost stories, just stories about the families that lived there and how they died of the yellow flu. Started the tour with the phrase, “I am dead.” I knew right then it was going to be a waste and I should leave. Then everytime someone yelled, “You’re doomed.” They wanted us to say back “We are the doomed.” all together. I could’ve read the history of the area and given myself a better tour than this haphazard misinformed “tour.”
We had so much fun, interactive and so much information that is crazy to hear! This was our 2nd time
We went on the trolley ghost tour. Violet was a great tour guide. She loves her job and is really good at telling the stories. We learned a lot about the history of Key West.
Super fun and informational evening with Ghosts and Gravestones! Kate and Howard were awesome tour guides. We had three generations in our family on our tour and I can say that it was fun for all ages! Our daughter is 11 and the tour was not scary for her. It was a fun way to learn the darker history of Key West while also seeing a beautiful sunset on the trolley ride. We all laughed as people shouted that we were doomed from the street (you'll understand that reference when you book the tour!!) I would highly recommend this tour!
This was not as expected but very informative and fun.
The trolley driver was very good and even added some fun to the trip
The guide was very entertaining.
Fine for families but would better suit older kids. bus was comfortable and stories were interesting.
Lots of fun and our guide was very informative and funny! We really enjoyed him and the kids had a great time also!
Very interesting tour. We enjoyed learning about Key West’s history. The tour guide was great! I really enjoyed the time in the shipwreck museum.
This is a must when you come to Key West. Everyone just screams on the street at the bus. It’s that well known. Our guide was adorable and knew so much. I enjoy knowing the history places. This is a way to get your kids and husband involved in that in a fun way. Worth every penny.
Was very informative, friendly and great history of Key West! The pricing was fair and it was nice to able to relax and enjoy the ride.
Great Ghost tour! We have been on several Ghost Tours in Key West and heard new tales that we have never heard before. Mary our host and Cassie our driver were Fantastic and extremely knowledgeable! Plus, after a long hot day touring, it was great to sit, relax and enjoy the spooky tales as we rodr around the island.
Highly recommend! Very charismatic driver and guide. Perfect length. Interesting and entertaining! Loved it!
This tour was fun and informative. I recommend for anyone looking for something fun to do. Howard and Calico Jack were knowledgeable and entertaining!
Laid back vibe with interesting history about Key West! Our guide was entertaining and informative! Overall a great time!
It was a great time. We have done several others in other cities and by far this one was the best . Highly recommend
The experience was very fun traveling around Key West while learning about its history and its spooky tales. It was also cool that we got to stop and go into the museum for further information about the history. The tour guide brought great energy and made the experience very entertaining.
Father John was interesting and a great storyteller.
Truly enjoyed the tour and history of Key West!
Calico Jack and our driver Howard were amazing, knowledgeable and entertaining. This is a great way to learn about the Island while having fun and experiencing a little bit of fear of the unknown. Great tour!
