Explore the only living coral reef in North America during this snorkeling adventure from Key West. Sail toward the reef on a state-of-the-art catamaran. Receive snorkeling guidance from your crew—ideal for first-time snorkelers. Use of sanitized snorkel gear and reef-safe sunscreen means you don’t need to pack your own, plus cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks are provided after the snorkeling.

Show up at the Opal Key Resort & Marina, located at 241 Front St, Key West, 30 minutes before your booked departure time.
Step aboard a modern catamaran, equipped with both sun decks and shaded areas. Set sail for North America's only living coral reef, enjoying the tropical island scenery on the way. Sip provided soda and water as you sail.
Once you arrive at the reef, descend easily into the water using the "stairway to the sea" and begin exploring. Swim around to see coral varieties and tropical fish found only in these waters.
Back on the boat, use the freshwater rinse and sip a wine, ice-cold beer, or mimosa (morning tour), or margarita (afternoon tour) on the way back to the marina.

- FURY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH SNORKEL INSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT, BUT YOU MUST KNOW WHOW TO SWIM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SNORKEL ADVENTURE.
- Groups of 8 or more are subject to an automatic gratuity service fee of 10%. Guests must provide cash or credit card at check in.
- Alcohol will not be served until the snorkeling portion of the trip has ended
- Alcohol cannot be consumed prior to participating in any activity. Guests arriving to check in with alcohol in their possession or under the influence will be restricted from entering the water, turned away or required to reschedule. Tickets are non-refundable.
- Guests 17 and younger must have a parent or guardian present at check in to sign waivers
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 100 travelers

The boat ride out was beautiful and informative. The snorkeling was so much fun. It was very wavy but the fish that we saw were amazing. Getting back on the boat at the end of the snorkeling was slightly challenging. The ride back in was so much fun. We had several of the promised margaritas and enjoyed the ride back to Key West. The staff was great!

To bring sun block, water proof camera, small lunch or snacks please bring some cash cuz the captain and crew work very hard to keep you safe make sure your glasses are full so they work very hard for their tips

Great experience as a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and informative. Quick trip out to the reef. Easy swim and saw many different types of fish.

There was not many things to see. Almost no fish you had too stay 6-8 feet from the reev so you could rather swim any other place. And the crew was nagging for tips 4 times, and said that you should give 20$ pr.person and for a pre paid trip, with just some drinks served I did not like this.

Many days underwater visibility is 50+ feet and teeming with sea life; others are not. Though we hope that every day is perfect, conditions can be affected by wind, waves, clouds or rain.
We are sorry to hear that the crew strayed from the standard tip speech. As Key West is a popular tourist destination, we welcome guests from all over the world, from a variety of backgrounds that may have differing tipping customs at home. That being said, a guide should never discuss a specific tip amount and we’d like you to know we’ve brought your comments to management. It is customary for guests to tip based on the level of customer service they received, however, guests should never feel pressured into doing so.

We had a great trip— experienced crew, clean boat, good drinks, and fun snorkeling. The water was beautiful and we saw lots of fish. The crew were all very nice and made our experience fun (the drinks were great!). The catamaran was also very well-kept and we felt safe. Would definitely sail with them again!

Had a great time with this crew. In fact, we all discussed how we would possibly improve it and couldn’t come up with anything significant. The captain and mates were amazing, personable, and efficient. They were definitely focused on safety and making absolutely sure nobody was left behind. The beer was cold and margaritas yummy too. Would do it again. We saw a shark, turtle, barracuda (maybe) and hundreds of bright colored fish.

Although they can’t control the weather, they should have cancelled trip due to high winds. Instead we were taken to alternate location in gulf, and saw no coral or fish.
The staff made you feel like this was good option and no complaints should be made.

Hello, Ann. Whenever there are weather conditions that make it not possible to snorkel the Reef, our Captains make an announcement that we will be utilizing an alternate snorkel location. At this time we offer guests the option to cancel for a full refund or reschedule for another date/ time. Most guests find the alternate location teeming with wildlife. We never mislead guests as it is our goal to deliver a memorable and FUN day on the water for everyone! We hope you will join us in the future when the conditions are perfect!

This is a great trip for those that are seasoned snorkelers. There should be warnings on this trip that it is not geared for those who do not know how to swim. They do not provide life jackets to all guests and only a min. required thin vest which you blow into to inflate but they don’t really work so you must know how to swim. There were 1-2 ft waves on the day we went so even avid swimmers were not able to get past the boat area unless they knew what they were doing. It was not a good use of our time for our family.

It is stated in all listings and confirmations along with the waiver that is signed prior to the tour that you must know how to swim to snorkel with Fury. On the date of your tour there was a sea state advisory; this is when we let all the guests know the conditions will be choppy to give inexperienced guests the opportunity to reschedule or cancel. When you reached out to us prior to the tour asking if you should go since you were a beginner swimmer, we recommended you rebook due to the conditions and you still chose to go out that day. For safety reasons Fury has the policy that all guests must be confident swimmers to snorkel in the deep open ocean, this is for the safety of you and all other guests. We hope you will join us for our Glass Bottom Boat trip or parasailing in the future where swimming is not required.

Crew is polite. Much less time in the water than was advertised. Gear you borrow is terrible. I would recommend finding a smaller charter boat.

Since we are so dependent on weather, conditions and the tide it is impossible to know exactly how long it will take the boat to get out and back to the reef therefore affecting snorkel duration.
