Check in at the dock, located on Pier B behind the Westin Resort in Key West, and then climb on board the Tiger Cat. This 34-foot (10-meter), custom-built, eco-friendly catamaran is captained by local wildlife experts with more than 30 years of experience on the Florida Keys’ backcountry waters. The boat utilizes a power-pole system rather than an anchor(s) to keep it in place while viewing sharks, thus preventing any possible damage to the seagrass and coral bottom below.
Travel through the shallow waters close to natural mangrove islands and look for a variety of wildlife — like dolphins, turtles, stingrays and birds, to name a few. Then proceed about four miles (six km) offshore to prime shark territory. A scented bait is dropped into the water to attract these super predators right to the edge of the boat, sharks of all kinds: lemon, nurse, bull, blacktip and hammerhead sharks. Make sure to have a camera ready to capture the scene.

This is a must do for everyone. This experience was awesome. The guides on the boat was very knowledgeable about the sharks and gave you a lot of information. I would definitely say this is the best thing to do while you are in key west. Thanks to the guides on the boat for an awesome adventure! Y'all were great!

Great guys. Friendly, informative, funny, and resourceful. Clearly, their experience and knowledge make them a clear choice. We saw lots of sharks, dolphins, as well as some logger head turtles. They made sure everyone had the opportunity to see/photograph the sharks as well as the turtles and dolphins. They have created a unique experience for their customers and clearly take great pride in the business they've built up over the years. And it certainly looks like the sharks appreciate their business, too! Can't say enough good things about them. I'm often skeptical of 'tourist experiences' in a place like Key West, but these guys are the real thing. Enjoy them. Next time we come back, we'll use them again.

The guides were amazing, fun and informative, but of course the sharks steal the show! We were also lucky enough to see some dolphins on our way back in. They make sure everyone has an opportunity to get to the front to take good photos. I really enjoyed it, and my family did too. Would def recommend.

The boat trip was absolutely fantastic, I couldn’t rate it highly enough! What an experience, we saw a large pod of dolphins and so many sharks. The guys who took us on the adventure were excellent, they had so much marine life knowledge, and they were very entertaining too. They even tried to save a turtle that sadly was entangled in a rope at sea. If you only do one trip in Key West this is the one to do.

Great - we saw at least 20 sharks at once, swimming next to the boat, in about 4' of water. It was amazing! They hung around to eat so all the folks on the boat could see them from about 8-12' away.

Don’t think you’ll be able to watch the sharks the entire time while stationary as there isn’t enough space for everyone to do so. I was barely able to get a few pictures and stand back. Several people refused to move to allow others to view the sharks although we all paid the same amount per ticket

We are disappointed and taken back by this feedback regarding not getting to see the shark feeding much. Each tour we feed the sharks at least four large baits and in between each fish we ask our passengers to rotate while we monitor this. We then continue to ask everyone repeatedly if anyone has not seen good. If you read our reviews you will find lots of comments saying that we do this process to ensure everyone sees good. I wish you would have spoken up to let us know you could not see much, we would have fed another bait with you right next to us as we feed had that been the case.

The tour guides are top notch and make the trip enjoyable for both adults and children. Two things stood out to me. 1. When it came to
Viewing the sharks, they ensured the children got front row views. 2. We had an elderly woman on the trip and they went out of their way to work with the other patrons to get a good view for the woman in the wheelchair.

This was a really fun excursion. Captain Clay and his brother, Matthew, kept things fun with lots of great info and plenty of corny jokes. The ride out to the feeding site was the smoothest ride we had all week! I didn't know what to expect with the feeding, but whatever I thought it would be, it was more! When we arrived at the feeding site, the guys hooked a fish to a rope over the water and the sharks would jump out of the water for it. It was incredible! They shared all sorts of facts about the sharks and made sure that everyone got a good view. We saw at least a dozen sharks, some were pretty large (estimated at 10')! They even let kids throw scraps into the water. It was a pretty thrilling experience. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Got to see lots of sharks (all Lemon sharks) and when they heard dolphins were in the area they stopped to see them too. Boat is covered, which was great, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We took our 3 year old and they were very accommodating. Fun and engaging for all ages!

This is a perfect morning or midday addition to a Key West trip. The boat is totally covered providing shade, it’s not too crowded, and has room for bag storage. The captain and boat crew know the deal to see the wildlife and get kids involved. I can’t think of one improvement to the trip.

Really cool experience with great guides, and we saw so many sharks. My daughter had the chance to feed the sharks, and loved it. Boat was in great condition, and they made a lot of effort to find dolphins - there weren't any, but no issue.
