- Required – Florida Boaters Safety: Florida Law requires everyone born after Jan 1, 1988 to take a boaters safety test to drive a jetski. Each driver must present a passed boaters safety test prior to departure. Tests only take 15 minutes & can be taken online

Me and my husband went jet skiing for the first time, and it was such an amazing experience! My husband was the driver, and we had two guides who were super nice and patient. I was so nervous at first — I even screamed a few times! 😂 But the guides made me feel safe and helped me relax. By the end, I was really enjoying it and didn’t want it to end. I totally recommend this experience, even if it’s your first time!

Breakdown of trip and the rating.
5 stars for jet ski - newer equipment and no mechanical issues.
3/4 stars for our guide - explained everything and showed us the island** had a skier that was constantly doing side to side motions and mad it difficult to enjoy the ride. The guide didn't stop him.
3 stars See above** Did not follow the "planned stops" on the Sunset webpage. We just rode for 1 hour in rough water with only one stop to jump in the water. Just floated for 5 minutes since the water was too high to stand. Never saw the southernmost point from the jetski
1 star- constantly telling everyone that we should tip. We get it. I asked the one guy at the end if there is anything else that I need to do before we leave and his response was "only if you haven't tipped yet" Really?? I gave our guide the tip after I got off the jet ski.
My advice, check around- call and ask what their tour is like.

The tour guys are absolutely amazing! It was my first time jet skiing and they were so patient and encouraging. The process was easy and they spent time going over safety measures that make you feel confident. We were able to hang out at the hotel after the tour and had some pool time. Highly recommend if you like adventure and an interest in Jet Skiing!

Very fun time. They did a very good job keeping it organized, and they had very good quality jet skis. They get you out on the water fast and there are multiple stops for photos and swimming

Super fun definitely ride solo. The skis were brand new and performed really well. Our guide took us to some cool spots we haven’t seen before. It was fun just ripping in the Keys.

What an amazing way to see the island! Eric and Jace were awesome and were focused on us having a great time while keeping us all safe. We cruised along at 50 mph at times which was exhilarating and even took a dip at this beautiful crystal clear sand bar. Highly recommend this tour!

Joe and his team did a great job with the tour. The time flew by. After instruction, we took it easy so the team could assess our abilities and comfort level because it was windy and a little choppy. Then we were grouped by the pace we wanted to keep. That was great because some of us wanted to go full throttle. Joe’s team helped us keep pace and distance and we had a thrilling time!

SPECTACULAR time!! Loved every minute. Only advice is be sure you like speed as even at 60km/hr I was the slowest of my group. Great biews and a nice way to ‘see’ Key West from a different perspective. Guides were excellent.
