We were greeted and picked up by Lexus who was a wonderful engaging guide. Did a tour through town before traveling to the tour in Wards Cove about 15 minutes away. Walked a short way to the ATV with Lexus pointing out native plants and their medicinal purpose. The ATV is easy to drive although the ride is not the majority of the excursion. It is mostly hiking through the Tongas Forest. It is a fairly walkable trail but may be challenging for those that are not very mobile. Lexus is very knowledgeable about the plants and trees of the rainforest and is a great storyteller of Bigfoot sightings. We enjoyed the hot chocolate and bakery cookie while taking a breather. She even spotted a deer feeding close to where we started hiking and allowed us extra time for watching and videoing. We chose this tour mostly for being in the woods and away from the normal bus or boat rides. Glad we did cause we had a great time!

Took ATV’s into the Tongass National Forest. Our guide offered to let us drive the ATV, but we declined. We were on a trail that was exclusive only to this adventure and lo and behold, we had a Bigfoot sighting!! We then hiked quite a distance and the entire time our guide was explaining to us all the plants and trees and their many uses. We stopped for cookies and hot chocolate, which was delicious. This was our last day in Alaska and we closed it out with this fun adventure.

Thank you for your informative review! Lexis is a great informative guide and we're glad you enjoyed your time with us. You say it perfectly in the sense of wanting to get away from the typical bus or boat ride. Alaska Bigfoot Adventures is about as unique and authentic as it gets!

We had the best time on this tour! Our guide, Alexis, is a local and was able to provide so much good information about the different flora and fauna of the forest and medicinal uses for all of the parts of the trees and plants. I would highly recommend this tour, not only for the Bigfoot lore, but also for the natural beauty of the forest.

Wonderful idea to explore nearby woods for Big Foot. Marcus was very sweet and told us interesting information about Ketchikan. We rode the ATV’s for about a half hour to a spot that led us to an area highly suspect for Big Foot! While taking a break Marcus played stories from real Big Foot sightings. I think if he studied the stories and told them himself it would be more interesting than listening to the mini podcasts. While walking through the forest we were told about local fauna and animals as we searched for Big Foot. Since it was chilly in the forest the hot chocolate and cookie was welcomed!

Thank you for your review Margaret, we're glad you enjoyed the tour! As for the recorded local eye witness accounts this is a part of our tour that is in works. Considering the guide does a full narrated town tour and identifies multiple plants on the tour these stories add some time to help the guide recover their voice. Overall we're working things out and your input is appreciated. Kind regards and enjoy the rest of your vacation!

We had an absolute blast!! The ATVs and hike through the forest were a great way to spend time while in Ketchikan.

You start out spending 30 minutes driving through the city and seeing a few locations. This tour didn't really provide too much history on the town, but did provide a lot of information about the tour guide. We love getting to know who is showing us around, but would have loved more information about the location. After 30 minutes in the van, we arrived at the UTVs which we were on for about 10 minutes before arriving at the hiking trail. The hiking trail was gorgeous. Fun photo ops and lots of information found here. Then back on UTV and the tour is over at about 45 minutes less than advertised. This was a lot of money to spend for such a short tour that really did offer very much time in the forest which was our whole reason for booking. Overall, not worth the price.

Super fun and chill! Hike was very easy, some steep parts but not too bad. Marcus gave us hot cocoa and some really good cookies! We listen to some Bigfoot stirrers and saw some Bigfoot traps as well. The atv ride was really fun, we were able to drive them ourselves. Was a lot of fun and overall a great experience! I would definitely recommend this to people who want something chill and fun in Ketchikan!
