Jolly Trolly was a great tour guide, knowledgeable and funny. Took us place that we didn't expect awesome tour. I would highly recommend to anyone even though Tim is a BUCS fan (inside joke) LOL go Panthers
Very disappointed. Tour guide was knowledgeable but the route left something to be desired. I saw more of Ketchikan from the ship than I did from your trolley. Portable John’s were nasty. The totem exhibit was good.
I had a limited time in port so I took this tour, and had an hour left over to visit Creek Street. It was a good way to see as much as I could with limited time. Very easy pick-up location right by the dock with representatives waiting. Very friendly tour guide. Happy that I went.
Christopher was an informed and entertaining tour guide. Wealth of information! Our group throughly enjoyed our tour of Ketchikan!
The owner/driver was great and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!! We stopped on a beach and saw salmon spawning from a bridge. He really knew his way around town!
Very knowledgeable guide with great sense of humor. Nice sites to see. Would have been better if not raining.
Our guide was very thorough and informative. The sights we were able to see were very exciting and beautiful
The driver Richard was so genuinely pleasant. He made a very rainy day worth it. We saw the totem poles, the pink salmon swimming but didnt see any bears….thank god!
Our tour guide was from Ketchican And added so much insight into this area. She was a great guide and went out of her way to make sure we saw all the cool things about Ketchican. Would recommend this tour!
Educational. Friendly and helpful driver............................................................
Travelled with my partner. The trolley was nice as the number of participants was smaller than riding on a bus with 50 plus people. The guide was a seasonal worker and missed that touch a local/native would have brought to the proceedings. He was knowledgeable enough but just luck of the draw if your guide is a native Alaskan. Did not see any bears which is also just bad luck of the draw. Did see the salmon do their thing which was nice and got to hear a little about the history of brothels in the area and after the tour was over got to visit Dolly’s house recommended by the tour guide. That was an added bonus! Avoid the higher prices associated with the cruise tours and book locally.
Great tour and amazing guide. We saw so many salmon and even saw 3 bear!!! The guide was just so nice too
We had the best time on this excursion! I would highly recommend it! This was a great overview of Ketchikan, and guide was amazing! Took us to amazing places, and tried his hardest to find bears or eagles. I definitely would do this excursion again!
Our guide Christopher was humorous and interesting. He did a great job of keeping everyone informed of what was coming up.
Fun tour. Very informative we did not see any wildlife. Loved the waterfall. Also enjoyed the bridge stop. The roadside stand has super fresh smoked salmon.
Great tour! Christopher, our guide, was informative and funny. Stopped at Ketchican highlights and still had plenty to shop and stroll downtown
This was a lot more fun then I thought it would be. Saw many Eagles, birds and a bear! The driver was excellent!
Do you learn a lot about the town trolley stops you can get off walk around take pictures beautiful waterfalls
Nice tour. Chris is a great guide, very knowledgeable.
We had a beautiful weather, which made it even better.
This was one of my favorite excursions! The tour guide, Chris, was the best! Gave us so much information and had a great sense of humor! The scenery was beautiful, we saw salmon so close we could almost touch them, an eagle and the Ketchikan museum.
This is much more than a "trolley" ride. Our driver was a guide who shared much of the history of Ketchikan. He also shared many fun facts. We made several stops to get out to look for wildlife and to enjoy the scenery. Chris was a fantastic guide! Perfect tour for my 77 year old Mom, my sister-in-law & me.
These guys are great. The staff was amazing!! We had some issues reaching the meeting point on time and Amanda went out of her way to help book us on the next tour. She also assisted us in getting back to the port on time. Incredible customer support that you don't get nowadays. The tour was amazing as well. Beautiful place!! Chris was an amazing tour/trolley guide. I would recommend that Viator place something on the description that you will need at least 30 minutes or more to reach the meeting location if you cruise ship is docked at Ward Cove.
It was not their fault that there were no bears around. I'm not sure why we stopped at an old beach for 10mins, seemed like a waste of time considering there was not much to see or do. There was nothing to see at herring cove except for salmon. Tour guide Richard was great. Overall underwhelming tour and not recommended for anyone who wants to see wildlife.
Enclosed trolley with stops at waterfall, beach area, and Heritage museum. Relaxing with opportunities to potentially see bears and bald eagles.
Great driver full of knowledge. Would have liked to have gone to fish hatchery. Good variety of sites.
Affordable tour, only a small group which made it enjoyable. Saw local small town sites, drove out of town, saw nature and wildlife. Really appreciated our local driver/guide Richard. He was informative and adaptive in the moment. Saw bears, eagles, salmon, & deer.
We had an amazing tour. Chris was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate! We saw eagles, salmon and bears! Waterfalls and totem poles as well as learning the history of Ketchikan. It was honestly the Best tour of our entire cruise!! Would highly recommend his tour to others! So much better than anything the cruise ships offer AND he made sure to take us back to the cruise ship ahead of time. Absolutely perfect experience!!! Thank you Chris for an absolutely awesome tour of Ketchikan!!!
Mr Jolly took us off the beaten path to see eagles, salmon running, a beautiful waterfall and the Totem Poll visitors center. We learned a lot of history about the town too!
The trolley was a fun way to see the different sights that we wanted to see. The driver shared a lot of information about the area and even had fish to toss into the air as eagles swooped down for pictures.
This was a great little tour of Ketchikan. Chris was SUPER informative, I think he talked the whole time. Very knowledgeable! He brought us to Herring Cove, but unfortunately it was too warm and sunny for the bears to come out. We did enjoy lots of eagles, and he called out and it made them fly over our heads. He stopped at a waterfall and we also learned about some totem poles.
