This was one of the best UTV/ATV experiences we've had. The scenery was so beautiful and majestic; and the staff was excellent. We just loved how attentive and humorous they were at yhe same time. I would definitely recommend this tour if you ever visit Alaska.

This was a wonderful trip .. learned I drive to miss potholes and wife drives to hit every one of them .. the views can’t be missed ..
Positives: Beautiful place, warm people.
Cons: short ride all on a dirt road. Went one direction, and then we turned around and came back the same way we went initially. While the reindeer dogs were delicious, the rest was something less than it could be with a little effort. ( I needed to ask for water, and was told, " I can get you some in a cup." I appreciated the effort, but forethought and a couple bucks invested would have had me telling my friends to do it, maybe . . .
Compared with our two other excursions (Skagway, Juneau), it was much less experience for the dollars spent.
I'll start by saying I would do it again! I just thought this would be a little more off road. This was just like driving on a gravel road back home but with scenery. I also thought the reindeer links was going to be more of a picnic setting but it was just in a small room at the back of the gift shop. I think their is potential for so much more here but, understandable that they have hundreds of visitors a day and safety is priority. Really sucked having to wear a helmet and the machines were speed limited because when working on a farm we do far more off road and sketchy things without limits or safety gear on these side-by-sides. This is a controlled environment with a group setting. Very fun and entertaining. I would caution if you have back or neck issues due to the rough terrain and holding the wait of the helmet over an approximate 11 mile trail, especially if you are not used to it! Get out there and enjoy! Take in the views of nature along the way. Chad and Brad were entertaining guides that also provided some educational insights!
There are a lot of goods to share but I’ll also give you some helpful tips

The bad
Not really a “bad” because the overall experience was positive but to fit the theme of the post, The port staff could have been more friendly. We were concerned with our return times to make our ship and we just were never that comfortable which left us uneasy.
The other
There is a 30 minute shuttle ride to and from the port. The ride is very bumpy. It was fine but be prepared.
Know your ship times!! If you have less than 4 hours you’d perhaps consider another excursion or just enjoy the town.
It was fun. The views were beautiful. But the ride was very rough and bumpy. May not be good for those with a bad back.
Lot of fun!!! Guides Abbey and Jazz are wonderful, very friendly. Enjoyed the backroad scenery. Food was good. I recommend this tour.
We spent equal time being transported by van to UTV ride. It's basically a follow behind caravan and at speed you cannot enjoy the scenery. The trail you take is a pot holed gravel road. We're experienced driving ATV & UTVs and this was a big disappointment. Definitely overpriced and underwhelmed by experience. Linda, van driver, was the highlight of trip....she gave a lot of information during 35 minute drive to get to UTVs.
TBH, pay a bit too much to drive a UTV. Needs to have more stops and information. Lunch cheesy…. Just hot dog.. $260 per person. Once best part tour guide Linda on the way back wonderfully knowledgeable and entertaining. Try Tram
This was not what we expected. Spent more time on the bus than UTV ride. UTV ride was very quick with only one real stop. If you just want to ride fast for 45 minutes then it may be for you, but if you want to be able to view the scenery and such without pressure I wouldn't recommend this tour. The staff was good and attentive.

This was a lot of fun and a great thrill ride while seeing a lot of beautiful scenery. Definitely made for our family who had a lot of young adults and those who still want to be young. If you are in Alaska this is a fun experience

The guides were extremely informative and a lot of fun. It has been a dry summer so the dust is a factor if you have respiratory issues but the ride is awesome. The bus ride from town to the camp is an adventure in itself. My family loved it.

This excursion was more than I could have ever expected. We took lots of amazing photos of some spectacular scenery. Our tour guide was a middle school teacher who was there for the summer working. She was so nice and full of information. My dad left his “good” binoculars in one of the ATV’s. I messaged the company and they retrieved them and shipped them home to us free of charge. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and our left behind belongings were returned without hesitation. Thank you for everything you did for us! You made our Alaska cruise extra special.

Please note pick up locations prior to traveling when you may not have internet…I accidentally took a cab 7 miles away! Thankfully people helped us figure out the directions we followed were to a port that had no ships coming in that day! We enjoyed the ride, information from our guide, and the reindeer. However, it states water and tea included, but we had to purchase water.

UTV’s were in good shape. The views were fantastic to include to small mini hike to the lake. Would recommend.

The scenery is beautiful & we had a good time. Our guides were friendly & nice. I think it’s worth noting you only ride atv’s for 11 miles or about 30 minutes out of the 4 hour excursion. It’s a 40 minute drive from the port each way. Wish we spent more time riding around & less time stopping to talk.

If you’re looking for the ultimate way to see the "real" Alaska, this UTV adventure is it! My husband and I recently did this tour in Ketchikan, and it was easily the highlight of our trip.
From the moment we started, the adrenaline was pumping. Driving the UTVs through the rugged, muddy trails of the Tongass National Forest was an absolute blast. We weren't just passengers; we really got to handle the terrain ourselves, splashing through puddles and climbing up steep, timber-lined ridges.
Why We Loved It:
The Scenery: Pictures don’t do it justice. We were surrounded by towering old-growth trees and lush rainforest at every turn. Reaching the overlooks and seeing the mountains and ocean stretched out below was a "pinch-me" moment.
The Wildlife: Being out in the remote wilderness gave us such a sense of peace (well, between the engine revs!). We kept our eyes peeled for whales, and the guides were great at pointing out the local flora and fauna.
The Guides: They were fantastic—knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and they made the whole experience so much fun with their stories about life in the Alaskan bush.
It was the perfect mix of high-energy excitement and breathtaking natural beauty. There’s something special about navigating that wild landscape with your partner by your side. If you're visiting Ketchikan, don't miss out on this—it's an experience we’ll be talking about for years!

Oh my gosh! This was the highlight of our trip! Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had so much fun driving the UTV’s and seeing the beauty surrounding us. We even got some sunshine and a rainbow at the end! I’d give this 10 stars if I could!

All the guides were amazing. The scenery was beautiful. My only complaint is it was SO bumpy and dusty. I was concerned we would hit a pot hole and flip multiple times. Aside from that, communication was perfect. Pick up and drop off was perfect. They go out of their way to make things easier for cruisers. For reference we are in our 50's so the bumps may not bother younger peeps!

This was fantastic! We were actually worried as we read some not so great reviews after we booked, so we were very pleasantly surprised. Our two guides were Fete and Connor (?, I think). Super fun, BEAUTIFUL scenery, and we felt like we had plenty of time out there. The included lunch was just a bonus! Oh another bonus was they have been our only tour that has NOT hounded us for a tip or a review (we gladly included both). Last thing, there were reviews about no shocks, etc. NOT TRUE. It was a blast!

Excellent tour, the scenery was amazing and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The bus ride was a bit longer than we expected but well worth the experience. Highly recommend!
