We had a great time fishing with Reggie! It was late in the season, so we were warned well in advance of our trip we might not catch much of anything. We decided to go out anyway, and we are glad we did! We hooked a few halibut, dog sharks, and rockfish in 4 hours. Reggie was a great guide for our trip and helped us learn about the area he calls home. We definitely recommend this experience!

It was not worth the money. Very expensive excursion - $2000 for the experience. In total, 3 people caught 4 fish. The captain could not go to better places to catch fish because the seas were too rough. In that case, the excursion should have been cancelled and a refund made. Further, this is the first off shore excursion that parties have had to purchase a fishing license. It’s always include. Viator really ripped us off on this one.

Best captain, made the fishing easy and they were biting! We caught the limit of salmon, a couple halibut (had to release those cause it was Friday), even a shark!

We had awesome time with Mike. Great experience, learned a lot and we will be getting the salmons we caught delivered to our home. There’s a lot of tours available in Ketchikan and there no way to see/do everything, but if you had to pick just one, this is the tour to pick!

My family and I had an amazing time. If I ever come back I’d definitely book with Jeremiah’s company. We caught 2king Salmon (pics to follow) a chum salmon, sockeye Salmon and a Silver Salmon. We also fed the eagles. Jeremiah and his wife soon to be “Capt.” Rebecca were amazing ppl with a great sense of humor. Definitely worth every penny.

Terrible Fishing Trip!!!

This trip was a disaster from the beginning. Captain Tim was expecting 3 not 4 people in our confirmed reservation. He was prepared to take us on a 6 hour halibut trip instead of the 4 hour salmon trip we had booked. Tim attempted to take us 4-5 miles off shore, but the seas were VERY rough and he kept saying, "I've never seen it like this before". Our boat was being tossed around to the point that I feared if it got much worse Tim would not be able to get us back safely. I asked to turn around and stay closer to the bay. With four lines in the water and the fish biting frequently, we were unable to bring anything in. Tim blamed it on the fish's soft lips and the way my boys reeled in the line. He offered no coaching. I wondered if Tim was using the right equipment?? The lines kept tangling eventually resulting in a pole snapping and being lost in the ocean. We found ourselves in the direct path of a cruise ship which was honking at us to get out of the way. Tim commented, "I'm not sure what to do right now". Tim's young first mate sat in the cabin the entire time playing on his cell phone and with a pocket knife. I am so disappointed we spent our day on this awful trip!!!!!

Alaska King Charter booked with Viator exceeded our expectations! The Captain was an expert fisherman. He took our group out about an hour to his favorite spot and made sure we all reeled in some BIG ones! A lot of hands on fun, putting bait on the line, reeling in fish and netting the big ones! The Silver and King Salomon were huge! We even saw a pod of killer whales breaching and playing around our boat as well as a big humpback! This tour was amazing!

Best Ever! Worth every penny. William is amazing and hard work. He took two moms and three 10 year old boys out for a day of fishing. We came back to the lower 48 with 24 pounds of Alaskan King Salmon and Halibut! He worked hard to make our day special. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime adventure -- this is a trip that will leave you with lasting adventures on plenty of fish tales!
