we do not pick up at Ward Cove. Please take the free shuttle to downtown Ketchikan. We meet on dock 2 outside of the Ketchikan visitor center near the rock statue. The meeting spot is about a 10 minute walk away from shuttle drop off. Ships in town are about 2-10 minute walk from the meeting point.

We loved our experience with our guide, Lexi! She took the time to go back to the same spot twice so we could catch a bear 🐻✨
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to visit Rotary Beach, so a little heads-up for anyone visiting on the weekend.
Lexi knew the area extremely well and also helped us spot a young eagle and a seal. 🦅🦭 It was a lovely, easy-going little tour and a wonderful way to discover Alaska!
And Lexi, remember: **Je m'appelle** (My name is) :P

John our tour guide went above and beyond for us as I had left one of my meds at home he took us to the pharmacy and stayed with us until it was filled. The tour was good also.

Lexington was very knowledgeable and alot of fun. We were able too see 3 bears and some cool sites. She was very accommodating. Highly recommend their tour. Super fun afternoon.

Very nice driver but the trip wasn't very professional; messy van, couldn't find the mic so people in the back couldn't hear; had to stop for gas. Did see some eagles and a waterfall but overall, not worth the price.

This was a fabulous tour!!! John was awesome! He knew where bears had recently been sighted & we saw wild bears & the eagle experience was sensational!! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area & directed us to a great restaurant to have some local king crab. I couldn’t recommend this tour more. If you’re in Ketchikan - don’t miss out on John’s tour!!!

We were lucky enough to see bears, tons of eagles, seals, and salmon. The waterfall we visited was beautiful. The van was comfortable and our tour guide was down to earth and pleasant. Would recommend!

Gentleman giving tour tried hardest to.find bears but we had no luck this day. Really had to use restroom,please were forgotten at times and tough on the bladder! But did see a hug eagle perched on a rock only 15' away!

The tour was a little disappointing. The guide was really nice and personable but the wildlife sightings were limited to eagles. The attempts to locate bears involved driving down a residential street where a fish smoker lived (attracts bears sometimes) and a small cove area where multiple tour buses were. We were hoping for a more scenic tour.

This was a great tour to see some local wildlife in Ketchikan! Our stop here was short, but we got a great taste of the local sea life and even saw a bear! Lexi was also so fun and nice to spend the time with! Worth every penny!

Lexie, our local guide, drove us around in a small group van. She described the culture of the town and the wildlife as we visited a salmon stream, scenic beach, saltwater marsh and a roaring waterfall.

Unfortunately we couldn't make this tour as our cruise ship was unable to dock in port due to high winds. We were gutted 😔 and even though there is a no refund policy if you cancel within 24 hours of the tour we got a full refund ( we cancelled 2 hours prior ) so ten out of ten to "Over The Top Tours" 👍

Tour was fine, tour operator very friendly. Did not see much wildlife, deceiving as they show the meadow with bears on the listing along with a bridge over the meadow, however you do not get to go on the bridge, that's an additional cost of $300 per person! Needless to say, there was one bear far away and could not really see him well.

Our guide took us to the best places in Ketchikan. We saw a bear in the wild eating salmon! We also saw the salmon run and a pretty waterfall.

While it was nice to chat with a local person (host) about the area, I wasn't expecting to pay the amount we did for the host to just drive us around to a few local spots in their truck.

Johnny was born and was raised in Ketchikan. He had a lot of stories about the history of the area and took us to places that others may not have been able to travel to. Was a great experience.

We got to see a black bear catch and eat a salmon from a stream, it was amazing! We also stopped by other points of interest but the black bear sighting was the highlight.

Nathan was our tour guide. He knew a lot about the area. We saw salmon running upstream which was amazing. It looked like hard work. We actually got to see a bear in someone’s yard!! We saw a creek that was pretty. We even saw some zipline stands way up in the trees; looked really scary. Then we went to a beach & walked out. We saw several star fish there. Then we saw a beautiful waterfall. E we truly enjoyed it.

Lexie (born and raised locally) was great and gave us lots of local info. She was accommodating to our needs (and wants). We were happy to see a bear, yay!! I would recommend this tour, it was a great value for the money for sure, and you felt like you know a bit more about this island afterward.

We missed our tour due some confusion on where and when to meet. Lexi went out of her way to get us a tour. Our guide, Nathan was fantastic. Took us to fish ladder and then we saw mama bear and 2 cubs. A great day after a bad start. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
