Please meet your guide at the pick-up location 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time, our representative will be there holding a sign with the name of your excursion on it. Our guides will be wearing green! We will meet you at the base of the Mt. Roberts Tram.

We did enjoy our time with the dogs, but would have liked a longer run with them. Loved the puppies. The walk on the bridge was not necessary. The information the bus driver gave on the way to the camp was interesting about the area.

It was such a fun experience. Be prepared to get a little wet and dirty, but it is so worth it! Definitely recommend.

We were so sad to miss our sled dog experience due to inclement weather in Juneau. The tour company was kind enough to offer us a refund since we weren’t able to get off of our ship until well after the tour had left.

This was such a unique experience, very informative. The dog handler and dog team were great. She was full of interesting information about the Iditarod and knew her dog team very well. It was lots of fun. The information center and map area was very informative as well. We got to meet the camp dog, he was so sweet. We enjoyed holding the new puppies and the shuttle driver was knowledgeable about Alaska and the k Juneau are. We truly enjoyed the whole experience.

Honestly this was a great tour and the highlight of my trip. I have zero complaints! It was super easy finding the tour operator at the port, and the bus was super comfortable along with an amazing bus driver! The company was also fantastic about getting back to me quickly when I messaged with some questions I had. I loved the dog sled ride, and the information about mushing and dog sled racing was very informative. The little bridge over the creek was an extra bonus I wasn’t expecting and was neat. Of course the puppies were great, I think the only thing I’d change is maybe getting the chance to really love on and let some of the bigger dogs while not hooked up to sled. It was fine, but I just felt bad I couldn’t give them the true loving they deserve. I understand keeping them hooked up though as you have more people after and it would be a lot of work to hook them up and unhook every time. Either way everything was great!

A fantastic little taster of being a musher! Great commentary from town out to the camp from both drivers. Once you arrive , you are straight into the action, and the dogs can’t wait to get going. It’s fun , exciting and educational. Holding the pups and seeing them play was another highlight. We loved this tour, I would recommend it to everyone!

Great experience! Lovely camp setting with knowledgeable team members. And the best part were the dogs! We got to meet the sled team after the ride and we got to snuggle pups. Learning about the Iditarod was also fun. Would definitely recommend!

Just amazing! Was wonderful to meet the dogs and have them do what they love; sledding! You can tell they love it as they get so excited and impatient to get going☺️ the short talk afterwards was really informative and gives a real understanding of the history of sledding in this region and how the dogs are trained and cared for.
We even got to cuddle some 6 wk old pups who will probably follow in their parents paw prints.
Was a wonderful excursion and a highlight of our tour. Thank you to the team, you’re all amazing.

We are so glad we chose to do this activity. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The cart ride was a lot of fun and it was really interesting watching the dogs work as a team. The highlight for sure was petting the sled team and holding the puppies. A nice bonus was the sled camp is located in a beautiful area with great photo opportunities. You won’t regret this experience!

It was a wonderful experience. The driver was 😁 but gave lots of good information about the dogs and the area. The ride was awesome and petting them afterwards was beautiful. I took a cognitively impaired individual and was so good with handling the runt who was having a hard time socializing. Definitely worth the experience!!!

Sled Dog experience was even better than we expected. You first get to be pulled by the dogs which was just as cool as you would expect.
After we got to pet them and even meet their puppies. There were 4 week old puppies at the time - my kids loved the whole experience. They were a little afraid at first, but ended up loving the whole thing!

We loved the dog sled experience and the puppies! Such a neat experience to see the dogs work together and learn about training. Our musher, Mark, was great! Unfortunately, the young man assigned to explain the Iditarod Race and history needed more training.

Downside, my daughter got a tick in her head from petting the dogs/puppies. She broke out in a severe rash and needed Medical Services on the Ship.
