Nicholas was very informative - we shared some great stories from home- Alaska and our home New Orleans-

We had a great time- our guide-Nicholas was awesome , he was very informative , had lots of local stories and history to share - answered all our questions- went on the tram- views were amazing, and the weather was beautiful! Saw no local wildlife( it was probably too many people!!- but we did not have to wait in any lines long! )

    Great Cultural Experience

Great way to learn about the history of the area and the totems of the indigenous people! Guide was very informative and patient with all our questions! While the day was drizzly and dense fog it still was a great way to spend the day. The tram ride was a nice experience, even with the limited visibility!

Great Tour on a Rainy Day

Damon walked with us and we visited several of the totem poles in the downtown area. He is native to Juneau and also of a local clan, so he explained the various clan totem. We then took the team to the top and said goodbye to Damen. We took off on the hiking paths and eventually made our way up to the top, through snow and mud. Beautiful scenery! Back down at the upper tram depot we used our excursion tokens for a discount on a small meal in the restaurant. It was a great tour! Dress for the weather and you’ll love it.

    Juneau Tram Getaway

Awesome totem poles and great views going up on the tram. Beautiful scenery on top of the mountain, great views and good food at the restaurant.

    Unrealistic expectations.

Learning experience was good but I didn’t know it would be a full hour walking tour, not good for people with mobility issues. I expected at least one Native Alaskan dance shows based on the advertisement. The restaurant at the top of the tram ride was too expensive for what I received, food was good but a snack not worth the price. Clarify on what can be expected would have been nice.
