Itinerary

Meet your costumed Segway guide at a centrally located meeting point. Listen to a brief orientation and spend a few minutes getting familiar with your personal, 2-wheeled, self-balancing scooter.

Once you feel comfortable, zoom off into the night to explore Chicago's haunted past. Visit the alley where more than 600 Chicagoans perished in 1903 in the Iroquois Theatre fire. Stand in a hotel ballroom on Michigan Avenue and listen closely for the sound of piano keys tinkling without the help of human hands. Glide down the banks of the Chicago River, where 800 people perished in 1915 during the city's worst maritime disaster. Learn about the spate of gangster murders that shaped Chicago's reputation.

Additionally, enjoy zooming around after nightfall to see Chicago's landmark buildings lit up at night.

Your tour ends at its starting point after exploring Chicago's eerie sites.

This was our first Segway tour. It was really a lot of fun! Jen was a great guide. It wasn't very haunted, but it was still a fun evening of seeing sights where tragedies occurred and to learn some interesting facts about Chicago. I recommend it for anyone to do. The Segways were really easy to drive and seeing the city at night is great!

The tour itself was fine! Viator screwed up the reservation, however, and the place was closed when we got there. Fortunately, there was a number and we had ALL the paperwork to validate our reservation so we called the number and the people came back, at 9 p.m., opened it up and gave us our paid-for tour. They were lovely but I can't say too much for Viator!

We were stuck in traffic and in danger of being late to the tour but the guides and staff were super nice and promised to make sure we were not disappointed. We did manage to arrive in the nick of time so no accomodation was needed after all. The segway tour was so much fun we are already looking forward to the next one.

Wonderful tour! Kate was our tour guide and was so friendly and fun!! My only recommendation is to have a larger pre-tour practice area. Beginners need a little more space to get comfortable with the machine. We will definitely be taking another tour when we travel to Chicago next year!!!!

Would love to give this five stars, the segways were top of the line, they provided us with warm body suits a must on a cold spring day moving at a few miles per hours!, excellent training so that we were confident before we set out, BEST GUIDE EVER - thank you Aaron! My only down grade is that for a city with as much history as Chicago I expected more sites along the way. Would definately use this company before any of the others again! I can't wait to go back and do the lake front tour with this company.

This tour was the highlight of our trip. Having never ridden on a Segway, our group was understandably nervous. Thankfully, the practice session made sure we were all comfortable before starting the tour. By the end, we were all riding around like veterans. Our tour guide, Aaron, was excellent and knowledgeable. His joking made the tour. Would highly recommend this to anyone, although, honestly the "ghost" part of the tour turned out to be more of an afterthought.
