What To Expect
Enjoy the high point of your Chicago visit with this admission to 360 Chicago (John Hancock Observatory), 94 stories up in one of the country’s tallest buildings. Anyone looking to get an incredible view of the unique lakefront landscape and scenic architecture of Chicago will enjoy this sky-high excursion.
Make your own way to the 360 Chicago entrance, located along Michigan Avenue. Once inside the building, step into a high-speed elevator that will whisk you more than 90 stories above the ground at a speed of 20.5 mph (33 kph). As the doors open, make your way to the floor-to-ceiling windows as you enjoy incredible aerial views of the Windy City.
Depending on the time of day you visit and the season, you’ll see all manner of interesting highlights. Morning and afternoon tend to give Lake Michigan a richer blue tint, while sunset offers the perfect opportunity for a romantic moment. After dark, the city sparkles down below.
Those who have worked up an appetite from the high altitude can stop by CloudBar, for a delicious array of locally sourced snacks, cocktails, and beer.
TILT tickets can be purchased on site. TILT is an attraction of outward tilting glass 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile. This is the first of its kind in the world and offers unique, downward facing views.

- 360 CHICAGO is located at 875 N Michigan Ave and is not affiliated with the Willis (Sears) Tower.

We went up as the sun was setting. Very beautiful views. I wish people would take pictures and move out of the way. There were a lot of people, but was able to see and get pictures of some beautiful views.

Fog moved in. Couldn’t see any fireworks at Navy Pier.
Bummer of an experience.
Also the Tilt is not an exciting activity. Pretty mediocre.

This was a wonderful experience, the view is spectacular and the employees had excellent manners, professional, friendly, and accommodating as well. I really appreciated that we were allowed to reschedule the experience for another day due to the fog obstructing the view, they did the right thing doing so since it was beyond our control. The only two things I didn't like was that the lights were too flashy and they should give the option to opt out of having our pictures taken especially if you have no intention to purchase the pics!

Bartender talked to much. Needed to focus more on customer service. Great view. I was in a wheelchair needed the bartender to bring drinks to table, she did not my family member had to go back and ask for out drinks again.

It’s cute! You get to see the views of Chicago. We went at 8:30, so it got dark pretty quickly while we were up there. We added on tickets to do the Tilt. It was fun but short.

The booking description says 2-4 hours
Took us less than an hour
Would be better if the view had a few placards to read about specific views/buildings/landmarks to go along with it rather than just the names on the windows of 4 or 5 things in view.

It was neat to see,. but I wasn't overwhelmed by it. Neat, but not really worth the cost. Once you've looked around a couple minutes not much to do.

The visit to the observation deck was disappointing. Most of the experience involved waiting in a long line just to take an elevator to the top. Once at the top, there was very little organization and views were not that great in my opinion.

No organization for ticket timeframes. Seemingly could get into line without regards to your ticket timeframes. Took us over an hour and 15 min to get from our line to the actual elevator up. Experience in the 360 area was overshadowed by the huge line of people trying to get back downstairs. When we did decide to leave the observation “experience” we waited in another huge line/wait times. To get down. They need to keep guests aware of the extra long wait times.

Look at the exact tickets you’re buying on here the tilt wasn’t included. When it comes to the times you choose that don’t even count. The smell in that building is horrible. Viator I could have gotten the actual tickets including the tilt for the same price off the website y’all are dead wrong

We waited an hour and a half just to go up the elevator even though we had tickets. There was no air conditioning for much of the wait in the building’s hallway. The deck was crowded.

$30 dollars just to get to top but not include the tilt and then ask for $15 more for it. Then pictures $35 it’s was a lot if money for what it was.
