Our tour guide was amazing!! We all had such a great time and the views of the city were amazing!! It was so cool to learn the history behind the buildings and the architecture. There were so many things I didn’t know about Chicago until this tour! We went at 11am and it was the perfect time to go! I would highly HIGHLY recommend! I would for sure go again, hopefully at night this time. Definitely my favorite part of the trip!

This was so easy! We selected our day and time on Viator, paid, and received our digital tickets. Viator sent us all the information in an email. We took an Uber to the location, they scanned our ticket and we were on the Chicago Architect River Tour. It was wonderful!

No place to sit on entire boat. All 5 of us had to stand. Can’t see anything on the bottom level and barely can hear anything.

It was a great experience very informational. The only thing I didn't see was access for the handicap wheelchair they may have it and I may have overlooked it. Just make sure before u book.

Loading dock was difficult to find so give yourself extra time to get there. There are benching on the exterior but arrive early for a seat.
If it rains this tour will not be cancelled, but it should be. Friday night there was awful thunder, lighting and heavy down pouring rain. The tour guide gave excellent historical details about the buildings but couldn’t see them for the bad weather conditions. Tried sitting up top, but could not see for trying to cover my head with the $5 plastic poncho sold on the boat. Feared the lighting and went inside with limited visibility.
They really should cancel if there is inclement weather for the safety of the passengers.

This was not only a beautiful ride along the water front ! It was so interesting to learn the history of each buildings along the water front! A history lesson on the different architects involved in the buildings! Our tour guild was witty and extremely knowledgeable! There was plenty of seating and lots of photo opportunities along the ride! A must adventure for young and old ! Particularly beautiful during the night under all the lights !

It was amazing, the views were incredible and the your guide really knew his stuff! The bar was great, the bathrooms were clean and the overall experience was great, definitely worth the money!

The experience overall was meh. First out of the gate, we went right passed the Trump building and our speaker didn't even mention it. Hello?!? He's our god damn President whether you like it or not. Jokes weren't really funny. I learned about how building were built but not really what the history was. Then when we were out on Lake Michigan and she finally mentioned Trump, she sort of made a joke out of it. Had I known that she was going to joke on our president, Inwokkd have NEVER selected your company for a tour cruise.

No refunds but they still expected people to still go on the tour boat when it was pouring rain and through a storm watch. Waste of $88!! They don’t offer refunds

Although you may not get the full experience of river cruise on a longer tour, this tour is concise version. The narrator presents in a dynamic way covering the history and interesting anecdotes related to the architecture. The heat prevented us from exploring the deck area but 1st floor is still good. It is also a good time frame for general audience that is not a strong architecture person.

It was nice but I wish they had more sitting room for everyone because people were standing in front of us in the back of boat and it ruined the whole experience. Couldn’t see anything. There are other boat tours that gives everyone seats. Choose those ones instead, your camera roll will thank you later.

The guide was negative and gave too many personal views. I came with
my family, who were visiting from California and even they were all
Shocked. No one on the boat was into this guy. I only saw 2 people tip him. He saved me money. I normally trip generously. Clearly, he didn't want my white-collar money!!!! Such a joke. Spends 45 minutes spewing garbage and begs for tips at the end.
Stick to the architecture! I have been on several tours, and this was by far the worst. Will not use this company in the future.

It was me and my friends’ first time in Chicago and we all had a great time. Also the whole process was very easy! I recommend booking a 9 PM tour during summer to get the full night city view.

Fun experience, and a great way to see the buildings along the river. Fun to learn a little bit of history of the buildings too. Glad we went in the morning since it was going to be a hot summer day and we sat out on the top of the boat in the sun.

We had a great time, with Tess as our tour guide. We did the 9:30 AM 45 minute tour. It was a toasty summer day in June, so I'm glad we did the earlier tour and had a few clouds. Tess was extremely knowledgeable, and was a lovely narrator of the architectural styles, the city history, and other interesting bits about Chicago.
I've done the architecture tour before, and will definitely do it again.

This was a great tour and activity to do in the city! I love that the tour was 45 minutes and not any longer. The host was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The boat itself is very spacious and clean. I missed my scheduled tour time, but the representatives were very accommodating and helped transfer my tickets to another time. I would definitely use Wendella when hosting family again in the future! Thank you!

I must commend the highly engaging experience, largely attributed to the exceptional performance of our guide. My only concern pertains to the accessibility of the vessel. As an individual with a disability, I encountered significant difficulty navigating the boarding stairs. I regret not having been informed in advance about the absence of alternative access options. But all and all it was a GREAT EXPERIENCE!
