This was a fun combo of architecture tour, ghost tour, and crime tour. I was in town for a road race, and was looking for a way to see part of the city. We learned about some of the city’s historical buildings and what events happened at each one. These events ranged from the 1800s to modern times. A note based on the tour description, we didn’t see any speakeasies, but learned about a couple famous ones.

We booked it last minute and we actually like the 7 pm tour because we flew in late and we were happy to get a tour in. We truly enjoyed all the fun facts about Chicago. Absolutely love walking around as sun was sitting, it makes Chicago more magical. Joseph our guide was helpful answering all the questions and he was our very own photographer. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

The Chicago’s Dark Side: Ghosts and Gangster Tour was Fantastic!!
This tour was excellent. We covered a lot of locations, and Scott went into the best details at each stop. Scott was Fantastic! He was an excellent presenter with lots of interest and passion on the topics .He also wanted everyone to have the best experience by engaging in Questions and Answers. You’ll love this tour and Ieatbed so much!

Great experience - not only for visitors.
Bryson is a great guide who enthusiastically engaged in riveting stories about Chicago. Living in Chicagoland for 20+ years, this experience is not only for tourists and visitors - you learn about the hidden sides of Chicago. I am somewhat glad that I didn't live in the 1920's Chicago.

Chicago’s storied history means ghost stories aplenty, and Chicago ghost tours help you connect with the darker side of the Windy City. The tours, which take place on foot, by bus, or on Segways, focus on locations associated with tragic events, unexplained phenomena, and reported paranormal activity. While visiting spots ranging from cemeteries to a haunted hotel to the infamous “Murder Castle” of H.H. Holmes, guides combine verified historical facts with local legends and eyewitness accounts. Led by guides well-versed in Chicago's macabre past, these experiences blend history and entertainment.
