The bus ride was ok. The federal building was closed. Due to traffic we missed a stop at a fountain resulting in walking back to it on our own. It felt we did not have enough time at the bean. The driver was nice.

Enjoyed the ride with Avery!! It was a great way to see the highlights of the city. Good pace, interesting backstories. My favorite stop was the cloud gate. If you have time, stop by Miller’s Pub next to the hotel, it was awesome.

Our driver Rick is friendly and knowledgeable about the city history. We enjoyed comfortable bus ride and photo stops. However, the meeting point direction is not accurate, not sure why did he ask us to meet on the side entrance of the Palmer house Hilton hotel while his car parked at the front entrance of the hotel where we arrived from the uber ride. Also, the ticket specifically indicated that the driver would drop us off in the Millennium park at the end of the tour if we wanted to stop there to see “The Bean”. Rick didn’t want to drop us off and kept telling us to walk there from the end point. Since the other 2 guests agreed with us going to the millennium park as well, he finally dropped us off in whatever tunnel and told us to take elevator up to the millennium park. The instruction is confusing and we had to look for the direction on the GPS by ourselves and walked another 10 minutes to get to the Park. It was a frustrating experience especially when the driver could easily drop us off at the park.

This trip was great. He had alot of knowledge about Chicago to pass on and he was very easy to reach. He went far and beyond giving me directions and reaching out on where i should park or how to get to the destination. The tour guy was great and he made it to all the stops even with the traffic that was available .

A quick tour that brings you to different stops in the city. However, I don’t think I learned much or that the stops were that impressive. A lot of the major attractions like the viewpoint from the Planetarium and the Bean only lasted 10-15 minutes. The other stops were not worth visiting. Don’t think I got a good impression of the city with this tour.

Avery was so engaging, knowledgeable, and gave real inside into Chicago reality. Fascinating stories of the past, glorious and not so glorious. Buildings do have a life of their own and the buried stories they house are true tell alls of culture and history. Highly recommend this tour and Avery especially!
