Our tour guide, Georgia,...
Our tour guide, Georgia, was amazing. So much fun history and food facts shared! She kept things moving but we never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Food sample portions were much more than we expected. We did the early afternoon tour and it took care of lunch AND dinner for us. Definitely a highlight of our time spent in Charleston.

Perry is amazing!
Perry our guide was very thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable about the city of Charleston and the food insight he had was unmatched! He hustled at every location to make sure we were always comfortable, had water and napkins and made sure our group always had a place to sit in the restaurant. The final stop at Virginia’s was incredible, we received our own private room with a sit down experience that was 10/10. Thank you Perry for such a wonderful experience!

A Transformative Feast of Flavor, History, and Heart
Chef Forest’s Foodie Tour is an absolute must-do for any traveler—hands down one of the best culinary tour experiences I’ve ever had!
Chef Forest, a true chef-scholar with a Charlestonian heart, led our small group through an unforgettable journey of local flavors, history, and insider stories, all delivered with hilarious wit and genuine warmth that made us feel like family. We savored perfectly prepared dishes—from fresh, farm-to-table bites to wine pairings he expertly curated—each one bursting with authenticity and his personal touch, while he shared profound insights into the culture behind the cuisine. The intimate setting, seamless service, and his warm, engaging presence elevated this beyond a typical tour into something transformative and joyful.
Don’t miss this gem- perfect for foodies or those interested in the history of Charlestonian cuisine.

Perfect Charleston Trio
My spouse and I chose this tour because it was the only one that stopped at Angel Oak, a destination recommended by a friend. Pickup was seamless at the Visitor’s Center. Angel Oak was the first leg of our tour, but before we even arrived, Jay provided enough Charleston and Low Country history to make the tour worth it. The tea garden (Charleston Tea Company, a working farm) was super educational and relaxing since we got to sip as much tea as we wanted. Moving on to the winery, there was an oyster festival that day. We grabbed a late lunch and drank plenty of wine samples and cocktails. After the trip was over, we agreed the trip was one of the best tours we’ve booked on vacation.

Fantastic culinary experience
We had a truly wonderful experience.. Our guide, Georgia, was exceptionally knowledgeable, welcoming, and engaging. She had a natural ability to connect with every person in the group, making us feel as though we had known one another for years!!
The meal at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic—beautifully prepared and thoughtfully curated. Every detail of the tour felt intentional. Georgia also took time to give us advice
On what to do during our limited stay in town.
Overall, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and elevated culinary outing.

Fun Food Tour
We try to do a food tour whenever we visit Charleston, and this time we chose the Upper King. We were not disappointed. Our guide Gordon was friendly and full of information about the food, restaurants, and history. The portions were delicious and filling. Would definitely recommend.

Easily the 10-est 🌟 Tour of 10 Stars
My cousin and I got lucky with our tour guide. He knows his stuff and clearly loves telling tales after dark.
Nathan was able to answer every question without losing stride or his place in his tour talk, had a voice that carries, was able to change the tour flawlessly (a stop had an invite-only event and we couldn't get it), and incorporated local lore into his tour seamlessly. I learnt a lot with out ever getting bored or feeling bogged down.
Also, dude said he writes his own tour talks? I wish he sold a .pdf or booklet. I am not going to remember all this solid info and my little cousins would eat it up with a spoon.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring water to drink water, especially if you ARE on a pub crawl.
PS - History should be a double major.
