This was such a great day in the North end of Boston. We enjoyed the history of the Italian community as much as the food. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Bobby was amazing with his passion for his city and community. The food of course was spectacular. ❤️ I highly recommend this tour. One of the highlights of our trip.

Despite the rainy and cold weather, it was a great time. The food was so good, and we were stuffed. We had the best pizza and cannolis. Bobby was very knowledgeable since it was his neighborhood after all.

What an excellent tour!!! Bobby is so knowledgeable and passionate about the North End and thanks to his stories of growing up there we really felt as though we were part of the neighborhood. Everyone seems to know him and he knows them. Each of the food/drink stops were delicious and we left feeling as though we really knew the neighborhood. The tour is a great value and our party of 6 middle to old aged people all loved it!! Don’t hesitate to book this tour, we’d do it again if (when) we come back.

Touring the North End with Bobby who grew up there was fantastic. He knows the history, restaurants, shops and people from lived experience. The restaurants and shops he took us to were top notch, and all of the food was outstanding. Book this tour, you won't be sorry!

    Best Tour Ever!

Robert was a fabulous guide, he shares his passion for the North End as well as its history with joyful demeanor and great professionalism. We visited great stores, the coffee place and the Limoncello stores were great too. I got all my gifts taken care of there! My teen son was pleasantly surprised at how Robert knew everyone around and how people greeted him warmly as they met him in the street. He's the real deal (said my boy). Lots of history and fabulous food. The pizza and pasta at the Forno Antico were delicious, the sandwich, cheese and taste of olive oil and balsamic were also great. The king of the tour was though, the canolli at Mike's Pastry.... I've never been a canolli person, but this one is OUTSTANDING! Do buy tour and you will not regret it.

Even if you’ve already visited the NorthEnd, do yourself a favor and see it through Bobby’s eyes!

Our guide, Bobby, was interesting, knowledgeable and fun! He lived in the North End of Boston his whole life. Everywhere we went people would stop to shake his hand or pat his back and tell us all what a good tour guide he is. He took us to some of the shops/stores that had three generations of family running them. And the FOOD! Delicious and plentiful - nobody left the tour hungry! Would recommend to everyone!

    Wonderful north end food tour!!

    Jaclyn_G, May 2026
Fantastic! Bobby, our tour guide was wonderful and is a true north end native. As we walked around and visited the different food stops he seemed to know everyone! He also had wonderful, personal stories of where he grew up in the north end and the history of the area. Also the food and drink were fantastic! Lastly, he was able to easily work around any food preferences (we had a vegetarian in our group) and made sure we were all happy and full by the end of the tour. Couldn’t recommend this tour more! We will be back, for sure!

    Wonderful food tour

    Julia_S, May 2026
Wonderful tour! The food was great and what really makes the tour is the guide. He grew up in the area and gives you an idea of what it’s like to grow up there. I loved hearing his personal family stories and connection with the area. I enjoyed the wine and pasta especially. And I liked that we could buy some of the items to bring home. It’s also the best way to bypass the huge line to get into Mike’s Pastry! I’m still thinking about the cannoli!

Go hungry! Bobby the owner and tour guide is very personable, fun and knowledgeable. Everyone knows him. He tours you around to the local places and the best food. So much so that we went back to the restaurant three days later! He tells you about all the north end history as a true local who grew up there.

    Amazing North End Food Tour

    Larry_L, Apr 2025
Bobby provides a great tour that gives historical information and first hand accounts of the neighborhood's past. The food and beverage stops are good enough, but the history behind each make for a greater experience.

    Response from Host, Apr 2025

Larry Thank you for your review of the North End Boston Food Tour. The food is a bonus to the culture and history of this unique neighborhood it was great meeting you and hope to see you again Best Bobby
