Itinerary

Meet your guide and small group in Boston’s historic North End neighborhood, and set off on a two-in-one walking tour that combines a pizza crawl with an educational history excursion.

Head off along the Freedom Trail, a route that leads to 16 historically significant sights. Learn about Paul Revere House, the oldest remaining structure in downtown Boston, which was home to Paul Revere and his family in the 1700s. See landmarks including the Old North Church, which played a dramatic role in the American Revolution, and the USS Constitution, aka Old Ironsides, the oldest commissioned warship afloat.

Then there’s the pizza that Boston’s Little Italy has become famous for. Visit three different pizzerias along the way, stopping to enjoy a full-sized slice at each, and finish up your meal with a cannoli from a local bakery.

The tour finishes back at your North End meeting point.

Leah_M, Dec 2025
We did the Pizza & North End tour with our three teenage boys, and it was fantastic. Scotty struck the perfect balance of walking, history, and food, which kept everyone engaged and happy (no small feat with teens!). The pizza stops were delicious, the history was interesting without being overwhelming, and the pace was just right. The pizza stops also gave us a chance to warm up. We highly recommend this tour for families, especially with older kids.

Great historical tour of Boston's North End with delicious food!

Stacy_S, Dec 2025
This tour was wonderful. I went with my family of 6 and we all loved it. We started at a delicious cannoli place and also stopped at 3 pizza places in the North End and had a slice of pizza at each. Each one was different and delicious. Scotty was the tour guide and he was great. Very entertaining and great stories and information about the North End. This is our favorite section of Boston and we enjoyed the tour and all the food. We were stuffed and happy! Take this tour...you won't regret it!

This tour takes you on the journey of the freedom trail, around the north end. Our tour guide was Scottie. He was really friendly and knowledgeable and fun to be around. We popped into three pizza places that I would never have dreamt of visiting. And a gorgeous bakery. This is a fun way to see a little part of Boston when you dont have much time. I highly recommend it.

This was a terrific tour! Scotty, our tour guide, was knowledgable, funny, and informative, and gave us great ideas for things to do and see after our tour -- and where to find a great steak!
