What are people saying about Washington DC

Beautiful strolling ride
Booked a 3 hour e-bike tour. Thankfully they allowed us to change from the 10am to the 230pm bc it was freezing in the morning. We had Lorenzo as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a good tour leader. Lots of time at each monument. Only “complaint” is we paid for e bikes and we never went over 10 mph and definitely did not need an e-bike. A regular bike would have been fine and probably easier to ride and constantly park. Unless you are physically challenged I highly recommend the regular bike. Using the e bikes even at level 1 was more challenging and semi problematic bc they accelerated quickly and jumpy when we were in crowds or following each other. Overall great tour. My only recommendation get the normal bike and enjoy the slow relaxing ride without a bulky e-bike.

10/10 Tour
Our tour guide Tyrone was amazing! Our driver Chris also took very good care of us. I enjoyed the 3 hour tour and it allowed me to get up close and personal with the monuments. Learned a lot from Tyrone about the historical facts and meanings behind all of the monuments. My husband and I enjoyed it so much.

D.C. Adventures!
Tyrone and Chris (Driver) were exceptionally kind, informative, and charismatic throughout the entire trip! They were patient and contacted everyone that was booked for the trip and ensured everyone was able to get on the bus. The location of the pickup for the tour and the size of the bus was perfect. It was in a shaded area and the bus itself was not overcrowded and it was cleaned with no funky smell. They also offered free cold water. The tour was not rushed and we had plenty of time at all the main stops to be able to sight see and take pictures. Throughout the trip Tyrone chose the best views and they were always perfect. He was 100% transparent through out the entire trip and offered to take pictures of the groups and recommended pretty good spots to eat during the lunch break. One thing we did not expect were the limited amount of restrooms, be mindful that not every stop has one. We had plenty of time for Lunch and there were multiple locations and cuisine to choose from. The boat trip itself was repetitive on the sites we had already visited but it was a nice calm soothing ride to decompress and digest lunch. There was enough room for everyone and a bar on the boat which was unexpected but really welcoming. The tour ended with plenty of time to be able to go visit one of the Smithsonian museums. Overall 100% recommend DC Signature Tours for an awesome experience around Washington D.C. with Tyrone leading the tour!
Breakfast Lincoln Memorial:
Hot dog ($8)
Lunch (Georgetown):
Restaurant: Founding Farmers fishers and bakers (worth every penny!)
Food:
Clam chowder ($9) was mid, but the scallops ($35), salmon ($32) and crab cake burger ($22) were on point! 👌🏽

Overall, this was our first time in D.C. and this tour really exceed all our expectations! Book with them and hopefully Tyrone makes his charming way to you!

Very Best!
James was an amazing guide! My daughter is on the spectrum and was so excited to see the Capital and specifically the rotunda. He made it a point to make sure she was engaged and felt included.
Also, he knows more facts and details about this area and the Capital than I will ever even read!

Great Tour of Washington's monuments and memorials.
This was a great, extensive and very informative tour! I really enjoyed stopping at all the monuments and memorials around the National Mall. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interactive which made the tour that much better. Will highly recommend it and would love to do it again if we are back.

Highly Recommend
Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and was not only able to navigate the large cemetery but also shared little known details about some of the residents and how to read military stones. His respect for the solemnity of the location was evident throughout. In particular, his knowledge of the guards and ceremony at The Tomb of the Unknowns brought a greater appreciation for this solemn ritual. Kevin was able to adjust his tour to accommodate people with varying physical abilities without any feeling if being rushed or missing out and still remained on time. This is a large cemetery and very hilly; I highly recommend this tour to ensure a comprehensive visit without exhausting oneself

Excellent tour and historical stories!
Very easy walk and talk tour through some of the oldest architecture and neighborhoods in the US. Our guide Ingaborg was extraordinarily knowledgeable of the rich history of the people who lived here, their influence, and who owns them now. Dignitaries such as former presidents and their cabinet members to influential citizens that left their mark here. I highly recommend this tour! I honestly did not know what to expect and was delightfully surprised.

really fun tour - good for quick trip
This was a great tour of DC if you have a short amount of time! We saw a ton of monuments and our tour guide (italian guy) was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was me and a family of 5 and I felt a part of the group. It would have been nice to have a quick stop at the capital for a photo. It was also really chilly that morning (early April) - so the ride was cold. might be nice to have blankets for those rides - its not like we could pack one if we're in from out of town. but all in all - we had a nice time, learned a lot and saw everything!

National Mall Tour that you should take!
Others on their reviews have focused on Washington Monument (because it’s free) as the tour cost and not worth the price, its a shame because every site we stopped Katherine is full of knowledge (that you can google to fact check) iand she is on point. I will save you time, very informative and answers your questions. The Washington Monument was just the icing on the tour.

Beautiful Day for a Beautiful Tour
This was a wonderful tour and our tour guide, Roche, was great. We saw the main highlights of D.C. and learned a lot of history. The weather was perfect the day of our tour so it was nice being on the bus with the open top. We had enough time at all the stops and for lunch.

Great History Lesson
Michael was a great tour guide for this trip! He was very knowledgeable about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln but also on the history of DC, the background of all of those involved prior to the shooting and some very fun facts that you wouldn’t have thought about. The walking path we went on was not too crazy but it was a beautiful night as well so that helped. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting DC and especially for those who want to learn more about Lincoln.
