Our driver was running a little late and he called on WhatsApp to keep us updated. It was so nice and thoughtful of him especially since we had already started to panic that we weren’t in the right place. This tour of St. Peter’s Basilica was outstanding. It was easy to find our group (10 people total), the guide spoke clear beautiful English and we didn’t wait in any lines. The best part was she was passionate and very knowledgeable about Rome, the Vatican, Roman history, church history and the Bible. I just loved how she tied it all together. I would highly recommend this driver (Emanuel) to anyone. He was unable to get to our hotel due to the Italian liberation day. The street was closed. Instead he found a close point and guided us to him so we could make it to the cruise port. Turns out, he does custom tours for visitor as well, including an "Everybody Loves Raymond" tour. Part of the show was filmed in the city were he lives, outside of Rome.

Nice ride

Nice van. Driver (Daniele) contacted me the night before to confirm. It only took about 90 min to get from the cruise port at Civitavecchia to my hotel in Rome and that included dropping people off at FCO first. I was picked up directly in front of the ship which was nice.

Alessandro was fantastic. He arrived early but no problem waiting for us. Very personable and knowledgeable. Took us right to our ship's check-in terminal vs us having to walk as most services cannot get in that close. Highly recommend the service, although it is a bit expensive.

Carlo was exactly where he said he would be. I just missed him, but he found me and I immediately felt rescued in the very crowded airport! I followed him out to the limo and he gave me a bottle of water and had me sit in a very comfortable limo van. I felt very taken care of and happy I didn’t have to negotiate finding and getting a cab to my destination. I would definitely recommend VIATOR as a way to get from the crowded airport to your destination.
