Our driver was fantastic and really made the experience comfortable for us. Communication was great- we were reached the day before our booking to confirm and also were called the morning of to let us know he was on his way. Dropped us right off at the entrance to the port building. Would definitely book again.

It was such a smooth experience as the driver texted us about 15 min before our meeting time. We arrived at the meeting place and he loaded our bags. One group was already on the shuttle and we had one more family to add. The drive was very nice and the driver was great. I would definitely suggest this company.

I had cancelled my original booking because it had the wrong date. It was corrected however the tickets were never updated. As a result, I could not get on the bus as they reflected the wrong date. My family and I were at the bus station without transportation. The company we were to ride with had no additional buses running. We had to book last minute with another company.

There wasn't a whole lot to review here, but I'll share what I wish I knew or what I felt was a little misleading. Overall, the transfer was fine. We had to walk maybe 1/4 mile from our airbnb to the pickup location, but we knew this and could've taken a cab if we wanted. but make sure you know that hauling luggage through the streets of rome is a real pill with the cobblestones and everything! The driver showed up on time as expected. The picture made it seem like we'd be in a shuttle bus, but it was really about a 10-seater sprinter-type van. The van itself was fine, air conditioned, comfortable, etc. The drive from Rome to the port was about an hour and a half and not a ton to look at along the way.
At least when we went, the taxis all had signage on teh side that rome to civitavecchia for 150 euros. More than we spent but in retrospect, might've been slightly easier than dealing with having to get to and find the pickup point.

Our driver was running a little late and he called on WhatsApp to keep us updated. It was so nice and thoughtful of him especially since we had already started to panic that we weren’t in the right place. Easy ride and drop off right at our cruise ship so we didn’t have to worry about figuring out the port. Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend Driver in Rome Transportation Company for a shared shuttle from Rome Hotel to Civitavecchia port for cruise. Communication with company great. Driver very professional and punctual. Vehicle top notch. Dropped us off right by the ship.

Our driver was very punctual and helpful with our luggage. There were 7 in our party. We did make a stop to pick up another passenger but, we arrived on time. We enjoyed hearing about his plans to visit USA later this year.

Fantastic, affordable, on-time port shuttle! Massimo was early, right at the location with a sign with all traveler names. He was courteous an offered everyone bottled water and loaded/unloaded our bags. We even got to the port early since everyone arrived early.

The driver was exactly on time and got us to the port, as advertised. However, for our trip back to Rome from Civitaveccia, we found it quite ease to take a shuttle from the port to the bus/train station and then 2 trains which got us from sea port to airport for less than half the price.

The driver and the travelers were given two different sets of instructions for pick up. We were told to meet in the plaza in front of the fountain. And then the driver would get out with our name on a sign. That did NOT happen. The driver was told a stop number in front of a pole. He saw us but continued on with his route. We had to contact Viator and have them come back for us. 1.5 hours sitting in the sun waiting.
