The driver was at our hotel at the time requested. We were his first stop and he had to pickup one other group. The ride from Rome to the cruise terminal took us approximately an hour and 20 minutes. Cost was reasonable and service was reliable. I would use them again.
We were asked to be ready to be picked up 15 minutes early. Great we were waiting outside the hotel. Driver showed up 15 minutes later than our original schedule time. Very disappointed
The day of our transfer, many of the streets in Rome were blocked off for the Rome half marathon. Despite having to try several routes out of the city before finding a way around the blockades, our driver got us to the cruise port safely and on time. He was very calm and professional throughout the trip. The company was also great about notifying us of potential delays in advance too. I would recommend this service again!

Our driver communicated clearly with us before our scheduled pick up. He arrived promptly, was friendly, helpful and drove well to get us to the port in good time.

Dear Karen, thank you so much for taking the time to write this thoughtful review. We'll pass on your kind words to our driver. Our entire staff appreciates your thoughtfulness.
Andrea
We had a great experience with our shuttle. There was a marathon happening in Rome which made picking us up from our hotel very complicated but our driver, Francesco, went above and beyond to find us and get us to where we needed to be. We were very impressed with his service and would highly recommend this shuttle!
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Dear Angela thank you for appreciating our driver and our service..... was not an easy day in the city due to the road closures for the marathon. Our driver did his best to drive safely and comfortably....thanks again.
Andrea
Our driver was early which was fine. He contacted us to let us know and we were able to meet our cruise as planned. Very happy with the communication and reliability, would definitely use Viator again and highly recommend to others.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Dear Michael, thank you for your excellent review. We're delighted that you found our service comfortable and satisfying.
Andrea
I like the comfort of having my luggage being handled, picked up at my location and dropped in front of the port. The train is a cheaper route plus you're dealing with crowds plus a walking distance where one would have to go into the streets.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Dear Barbara many thanks for your review. We are happy that you appreciated our service.
Kind regards
Andrea
Our driver was on time and efficient at getting us to the port. However the reservation was for 12:30pm. The confirmation stated 12:30pm and the ticket stated 12:30pm. Yet the company changed our time late the prior day causing us to cut short our plans for the morning and essentially losing money. When I questioned this, the person stated it was a shared shuttle. OK - but we had a party of 6. The party of 2 could have changed their time of pick-up.
Also, we learned when checking into our hotel the day before that the hotel offered a service that was over $100 less expensive than this service.
So, was this service effective for the intended need? Yes. But be aware there are less expensive options and be aware that they will change your pick-up time last minute and be unsympathetic to the impact on your plans - which you made based on every communication up to that moment.
Response from Host, Oct 2026
Dear Richard, thank you for leaving a positive review for our service. We take this opportunity to clarify that shared transfers have a 30-minute grace period from the booked time to ensure all guests are picked up as close to their booked time as possible. This is stated in the service description and confirmed in the first message we send to passengers via the Viator platform when we receive a booking.
We hope to have you with us again on your next trip.
Kind Regards
Andrea

Carlos is a great driver and was in a comfortable vehicle. Couldn't drive van to front of the hotel due to narrow street but he came into the hotel lobby and helped us take our luggage to the van.

Andrea
Our driver picked us up at our hotel on time and made a couple of stops to pick up a few more people. The vehicle was comfortable and very nice. We made a couple of stops to pick up a few more people, but there were only six of us total, which was so much nicer than a huge bus load. We go to the port in plenty of time. Our driver, Andrea, was very good.

The shared ride to the port was easy access and timely. Our driver was on time and friendly. But, remember this is a shared van. So, if you are traveling with less than 8 keto in mind other stops may be made. Therefore, include this time when booking.

Andrea
The pick up was as scheduled, promptly and at the right location. We made it to the port in 1 hour! Ahead of scheduled. We had plenty of time to register the luggage and go to the ship. No rush.

Our driver was awful! He nearly hit 4 pedestrians at different times and slammed on the breaks so hard we all nealry fell out of our seats. He then nealry ran over a toll gate and missed it by inches. Would not recommend this travel company or driver!!!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Dear Stewart, what you wrote seems very different from reality. Your driver, Nadir, is highly regarded for his driving style and has numerous positive 5-star reviews from our guests, who often request his services. You traveled with four other guests (two couples. Of which a couple left their 5 star review writing "The pick up was as scheduled, promptly and at the right location. We made it to the port in 1 hour! Ahead of scheduled. We had plenty of time to register the luggage and go to the ship. No rush"), who absolutely did not report feeling unsafe during the trip. You are likely objecting because, as per the terms and conditions, we charged you a supplement for carrying excess baggage that you had not declared at the time of booking (you and your wife had a total of three large and three medium/large pieces of luggage, when the maximum permitted is one large piece and one carry-on piece each). This jeopardized the success of the shared transfer for the other travelers. Fortunately, your shared transfer was only organized for six passengers; otherwise, we would not have been able to accommodate you due to lack of space in the van's trunk, and you would have had to pay for a new transfer without being reimbursed for the one you had ordered. We would like to take this opportunity to inform all travelers that they must be indicated any excess baggage at the time of booking, otherwise our company legitimately reserves the right not to provide their transfer. We sincerely hope that in the future we will no longer have to serve passengers as unscrupulous as you.
Kind regards
Andrea
Our driver was excellent, he was there early, by almost 20 minutes, but walked in to our hotel to find us. We talked a lot with the other passengers on our drive, but we got there safely and early! After our port transfer was canceled by our cruise line, this was an easy and smooth process from start to finish. I would recommend this transfer to anyone needing a ride around!

Dear Rebecca thank you for judging our service so satisfactorily for you. Satisfying our guests is our mission and receiving such beautiful testimonials fills us with pride.
Thanks a lot
Andrea
Excellent service. Picked up outside our hotel and dropped off outside the port embarkation terminal. No hassle. No struggling with luggage through the streets of a very hot and very busy Rome.
My advice would be to check your pick up details with the company the evening prior to pickup, as the info received from Viator differed. Excellent communication from the company; prompt and friendly.
