Airport needs checked

Tried changing the destination, only by about a kilometre in Civitecchia. Got an email saying it would cost around £150 to do so. Asked them to forget the change. Anyway what they meant to say was that they would refund the original and recharge. Also I got the Airports in Rome wrong, though I'm surprised they didn't pick this up as I gave the flight details. However all was resolved and we got their. Though it did cost an additional £45 or thereabouts. For a much shorter journey, mainly my fault, but needed more clarity from Viator.

I reserved 1 big car for 10 of us but it took 2 cars which 1 of the car was delayed. It was to my surprise that the driver asked for additional fees because of time of pickup which I stated when booking. This is wrong!

Clean and comfortable luxury ride from Rome to the airport. Our driver arrived promptly & let us know he was outside our hotel. He also pointed out a few sites in an area that we didn't have a chance to see during our short stay in Rome which were very interesting. I was a little bit nervous about his arrival since after booking there was not too much communication (other rides/tours I have booked sent several messages) but I needn't have worried as the driver had it all in hand.

Driver was not responsive to several on app requests for clarity about the pick up time. Drive to Rome was fine but he didn’t know how to initiate the air conditioning so the ride was quite uncomfortable. All in we got there fine but the ride was hot and the responsiveness was lacking.

So angry to arrive in Rome to find that my transfer had been cancelled by Carlo despite giving all flight information he claimed he didn't have enough information so he cancelled. Instead of an easy pickup in a strange country at midnight and after 36 hours of travel I was left to sort it all out myself . Very angry

Be prepared to hold on!! We decided they all drive like that but it was start and stop and herky jerky the entire trip! It was like we were in a car race. Carlos was very nice and we arrived in one piece.

We took this car service from our cruise port to Rome. They were fantastic!! The driver was waiting for us right outside the cruise luggage pickup as we exited the building. It was so convenient with 8 people (2 adults, 3 grandparents, 3 kids) and 6 large bags. The car had great air conditioning as well which is sometimes hard to find in Europe.

We had communicated with this company the past 5 months. We have communicated with them acknowledging our port arrival time in Rome (Civi) and that we were flying out of Rome with the times and luggage details. We communicated the pickup time for yesterday morning for 9:00 just the day or 2 before. Yesterday when we awake we get a text from Carlos that our reservation was wrong. We needed to cancel and rebook at 2 times (from $125 to $256) the cost if we want to keep our transfer. We were shocked and it certainly ruined our morning. We had just had a beautiful 21 day European holiday and it ended with us feeling like we were being railroaded. We had to get to the airport so we were forced to play nice. But I’m home now and not playing nice any longer. The driver that came was good. This was no fault of his so we did tip him. However we will be disputing these charges as the whole saturation just feels wrong. So never think you have a ride….till you have a ride. The company will not respond to my current communications to settle this so I will be in contact with my credit card company this afternoon.
