What are people saying about Rome

10/10 Recommend
This was a wonderful tour and I cannot think of anything but good things to say. Alex, was our guide and he was excellent at telling us all about the city. We saw all the sights we wanted to and he even accommodated some special requests. He gave us all the time we wanted at each stop which made the experience never feel rushed. We traveled with our 4yr old and this is an excellent way to see the city for young kids! We did the 4hr extended tour with gelato which was well worth it and our guide even recommended a family friendly dinner spot for us afterwards that was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone!

Excellent way to see the best of the sites in the Vatican - Try to get Mario as your guide!
If you have the opportunity to do this tour with Mario, consider yourself lucky. It is rare to find anyone who can teach and entertain in a manner as natural and funny as he does. His deep knowledge of the Vatican, the art, and the history is apparent but his delivery is the true prize here. He truly is a master at what he does. Beyond our guide, the tour was the best it could be. It’s busy, there are tons of people, and you are constantly moving. That cannot be helped. This was my second time to see the Sistine Chapel, museums, and the basilica and I can honestly say I learned so much more this time. Three hours is no where near enough to scratch the surface, but there’s no better way to do this tour as an average person. Don’t hesitate to book and ask for Mario. I can’t imagine doing this with anyone better.

Brilliant guided tour
Did the guided tour of colosseum, including arena floor, and palatine hill finishing at Roman forum. Lasted about 3 hours or so but never boring for moment. Our guide was Georgia who is a proud Roman but speaks brilliant English with a lovely Italian accent. She was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. She managed to keep us all on track despite different paces and expectations. Honestly she couldn’t have been better. It was incredibly hot but she constantly sought out shade and gave sufficient time for photos etc. there was so much to see and learn but it flew by. Would 100% recommend.

Worth the money! Do it…you will not regret it.
What an incredible experience! I highly recommend this tour, it is worth the extra expense. We waited about 15 minutes to get in. That was a blessing as it was so hot. Our guide, Massimo, was terrific! He knew everyone and was able to get us some different access than general tours. He provided perspective and history at every stop. He answered our questions and was highly interactive throughout. We were able to spend 45 minutes in St. Peter’s Basilica at the end. If you are going to the tour the Vatican area, you need a small personalized tour. It was so worth it.
