A great tour of Rome

This was our first tour in Rome and it was wonderful. Our tour plan got a bit changed by the arrival of the King of England at the Colleseum, but our guide was able to keep us seeing so many great things to avoid the traffic from the Kings visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about the city and monuments. This was a great experience and we can recommend it.

Tomasso was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. His profession as an archeologist was very helpful to bring the city to life. He made the tour very interesting for our kids and even recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch! I would highly suggest a private tour since all the kids questions were answered, we could focus longer in areas of interest AND was much easier to navigate the large crowds of tourist in the colosseum/forum area. Five stars all the way. Grazie Tomasso! Ciao!

Francesco is extremely knowledgeable and is able to navigate a four hour tour extremely well. It was surreal to see sights we had dreamed of visiting. An amazing guide who helped us enjoy some of the most magnificent sites of the world. Grazie millie!!!

Thomas was so knowledgeable and friendly. Very easy to understand. Meeting spot was fairly easy to find, but the address was a bit confusing. But he was standing out there with our name on a sign, with a big smile!

We struck gold with our guide and Roman archeologist, Tomasso! He was amazing and so knowledgeable about the city and ruins (past and present). He made it fun and interesting for the kids (ages 14-19) even recreating a gladiator battle (using dice). He was patient and flexible and even brought us to a great lunch place at the end of the tour. We were completely satisfied and all had fun! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Max & the private tour. He packed everything into 4 hours as we were pressed for time. He was knowledgeable and had illustrations to better explain the past & present. Had wonderful anecdotes and was very knowledgeable about the subjects presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Max. Definitely a highlight of our short stay in Rome!! We will return. An experience of a lifetime! My wife and I had a private guided tour by the magnificent Paola. Her archeological background brought to life the history and culture of ancient Rome. We were very fortunate and grateful to have such an expert guide us around the city for the day. Adding to our overall experience on the day was how delightful and personable she is.

Tomas, an archaeologist, was a great guide He was super knowledgeable and went at a pace that was perfect for us on a private tour. He had up a lot of inside information and very good stories as well as historical facts. I can find no fault with Tomas, he was wonderful! My only problem, would be with via tour for offering a tour to us that became unavailable days before we departed. Therefore we had to re-schedule back to back tours on the same day. it was very difficult to make both tours work because there was not enough time in between to get from one end of the city to the other. We also had to pay additional for the private tour as it was supposed to be longer. We could not take advantage of this because it was so late in the day. Tomas saved the day by giving us a lot of information in a shorter amount of time and making it very pleasurable.
