Our Best Rome Adventure Tour

Our tour Guide Christine was amazing. From the start she was witty, fun, energetic and just all around awesome. We started just a short walk from the entrance and skipped the line to get right in pretty easily. She was from GA I believe and our entire group was from the US with half being from FL where we were from. The whole vibe for our group was fantastic. Throughout the tour she had stories for the different things we saw. I loved her candor in describing the art. One story stuck with me to this day and I purchased a statue of The Michelangelo Pieta. The way she described the statue, the way it presented and story behind it spoke to my heart. I would highly reccomend this tour. We did the 10:30 time slot and it was not very busy throughout the musuems which made it very nice and enjoyable time. Should I ever return I would specifically look up this smaller tour company and go with them! Ask for Christines tour, you will not be disappointed.

5 stars! This tour was perfect with kids!

We opted for the private tour because our kids are young (5.5 and 8), and they would not have done well with a large group tour. This tour ended up being perfect for them, but honestly I think my husband and I were the greatest beneficiaries. Our guide was wonderful, and the private tour allowed us ask questions and interact. We learned so much! The tour is a splurge, but we didn’t come to Rome to skimp- we wanted the best experience and we got it. Ask for Marchello if you can - he was absolutely excellent!

this was our way to see Rome! We did not go into the Colosseum or other attractions, but found this wonderful to at least see the ancient structures. We did this on our first day of arrival from the US and this night tour kept us up so it is recommended for the day of arrival.

The current view overlaid with the transparencies that depicted the location in its glory were an ideal tool to “see” Rome as it was. We really appreciate seeing and learning about The Forum, Palantine Hill and the Colosseum.

We had a lot of fun exploring Rome on our golf cart tour. Our driver had a fun personality and was very informative about the areas we visited. As we only had a day to see the city, this was an excellent way to hit the major areas, knowing we could go back to an area later. The gelato is a nice addition too!

A great tour!

Driver picked up from hotel and we were off to the vatican! Our guide letticia was great. She told us she had done the tour about 2000 times! She new all the shortcuts around tge biggest crowds and was able to distill 2000 years of art history into a 3 hour tour. She was able to improvise to accomodate my 11 and 15 year old and keep them engaged. Would do again!

Amazing Tour - wouldn’t do Rome any other way!

Wow—thought this tour might have been a wee bit too much money but it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Sam was our driver—tour at 9:30 am. We customized our tour (which was on a Saturday) and had us promptly to the Trevi fountain BEFORE the crowds. He got us to every Rome landmark and was so professional and knowledgeable. We loved this tour and our guide, Sam! What an amazing experience!

We did the semi private tour, thru What a Life Tours and it was amazing! Our guide was Jeanette and her knowledge of the Vatican, its history and the artifacts is outstanding. She was very engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. The tour consisted of only about 10 guests which was the perfect size. This is the way to see the Vatican!

Absolutely amazing. Was well worth it.

Roberto was fantastic. We had such an amazing day. Roberto picked us up and drove us out to mazzano Romano where we stopped at the local shops. We even had samples of meats at the butchers where all the meat came from their farm. The cooking location was amazing and Roberto was such an amazing teacher and chef. We can’t thank him enough for such an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.
